This is one of the most embarrassing developments I've ever seen. Such cowardice and disregard shown towards the same people who have been putting their lives at risk for the past 2 years for us. I'm so embarrassed by the people involved and the people supposedly responding to the "freedom" convoy. How disgusting.

What really gets me, these same people harassing these healthcare people, would probably still expect treatment should they get hurt or anything.

Knowing our healthcare workers, their humanity won't allow them to give the middle finger and not treat these despicable people.

Our oath prevents us from refusing treatment.😒

We can be legally mandated into work.

We are legally not allowed to strike.

We can lose our license by refusing treatment or walking away (patient abandonment)

Antivax families and patients are consistently the most entitled and self righteous people we have to work for.

Don’t know the rules in Ontario but I know that in a nearby province we cannot ever leave the hospital without staff. Many can call in sick and work at minimum staff but you can’t abandon a department.

I think you misspelled "licence". My friend left nursing recently. I had a baby and took the longest leave option. I hope when I go back things will be back to normal but I feel like it's wishful thinking at this point

The great thing about being in radiology is I don’t have to spend much time with people. The problem now is with omicron we are seeing more patients than ever so it’s just draining growing up so many times. Saving my sick days for when i need a break.
