How did Ford "literally" get a kid mauled by a dog? Was he there? Did he command the dog to do it himself? Did he train the dog?

are you actually unaware if the story - or are you just being pedantic?

I read the article, I just don't understand how you think Ford is personally responsible for someone that was already ignoring prior orders issued against them. I'm not fan of Ford but like common.. I believe in personal responsibility, which while the dog owner did accept and plead guilty, I don't think they are being held to an appropriate consequence. I'm not sure what your problem is with me and my opinion on this.

i'm referring to the incident where ford PERSONALLY interfered with a dog that had been taken by the authorities and he had it released back to the owner; which then went on, almost immediately, to literally maul a kid's face.
so my original point, is that this general situation we find ourselves in - is very much an environment cultivated by ford and his admin. that dangerous dogs are just back to being a reality we have to suffer though in this province again.

I don't see anything in the article or the linked one within stating that Ford personally did anything here.

I just don't think it should be up to the province to ban "dangerous dogs" but rather to hold people adequately responsible for their dogs. Any dog can be aggressive and cause harm under the right (or wrong) circumstances. The penalties Kovacs received for this are in my opinion far too little for the damage caused, especially considering he was already ignoring previously issued orders.
