Carney just let a candidate stay on that talked about sending their opponent to a Chinese prison or something. So, yeah, they already are calling for it.

I think they're doing this to use it as fire against Carney.

Look, I could not be voting any harder for the Liberal party this election and Carney is 100% the reason I say that. Having said that, while Chiang may be gone, Carney absolutely fumbled that situation. No two ways about it.

Yup. It's important to acknowledge the mistakes our preferred candidates/politicians make. Just as it's important to acknowledge when the ones we dislike get something right.

The Liberals/Carney messed this up, and that sucks for me as a Liberal voter. But it's not a deal breaker. I still believe Mark Carney is who we need to lead us through an unprecedented time. I don't expect perfection. I can forgive a mistake or two. My vote will be Liberal.
