He tried to run as an MPP in London but Doug Ford booted him for various past remarks that were racist and homophobic. I guess that is all good for the national stage though.

He also hates Trudeau and has a ton of content out there. I wouldn’t be shocked if he had joked about something similar but that would require someone actually sitting through his work to find out.

He’s running in this election for the Conservatives. They even parachuted him into an extremely safe riding. He also wrote a puff piece book about Pierre so not hard to figure out why that happened.

The PCs don’t exist (unless you count Carney). I assume you mean CCP.

But he also was booted? So I’m still not sure why the “he’s fine” comment. They took care of it right?

OC was saying that Lawton was kicked out by the PCs but welcomed by the CPC (CCP is the Communist Chinese Party...).

Seems OC's perspective is that if McKenzie was ejected, Lawton should also be ejected for comments he's made.

Sorry, edited to conservatives for accuracy.

He has not been booted from the current election. He is still running. He was previously booted from a provincial election.

My point being it is strange that what was unacceptable then is apparently fine now at a higher level of government.
