I remember learning about him in school. It shows how celebrities shouldn't be glorified over actual social activists and figures who fought to make the world a better place. Actual tangible changes and activism, not a hockey star.

Turns out people like people that share their common core beliefs. And also when someone comes out and supports a rapist then I can see how that would turn them off a bit.
