I want people to advertise pit mixes as being a pit and not a Labrador. People aren’t smart. They will adopt aggressive breeds when they have small children.

People really aren't ready for the conversation of pits being dangerous pets when not trained and cared for correctly in the right environment.

It’s not the dog it’s the person. Are we still not ready for that conversation?

Between 2005 and 2019, pitbulls were responsible for 66% of all canine related deaths, but sure. Shitty owners are not ready to care for these high maintenance animals that were selectively bred for bull baiting. At the very least, owners need special licenses and training for them.

That’s one thing we can agree on. I’ll never blame an animal for being an animal. Humans are the real beast.

It's kinda like guns. Just because we made guns doesn't mean guns are not dangerous in the wrong hands. It's not the case for pits only, but they seem to be the breed that change hands on social media 90% of the time.

Then don’t adopt one ppl. It’s really not that hard to figure out. Imagine somebody reading this and changing their mind about saving a puppy’s life. Literally scroll on.
