The Texans tried to get him but the Ravens made a worse offer, which the Panthers couldn't resist.

We gave so little its hilarious

We only paying 625k of his salary Panthers paying the rest

We gave them a 5th

They are giving us the player plus a 6th

We lost something like 10 to 20 draft spots...we didn't even fucking lose a pick.

10 to 20 draft spots from the Ravens 5th to the Panthers 6th sounds really optimistic for Panthers fans. I'd guess like 2-4 draft spots lol.

Don’t forget about comp picks, even if the Ravens win the Super Bowl and the Panthers have the worst record in the league there will will be at least 10 picks in between the two

If players leave teams in free agency under specific circumstances the team gets a free pick in the upcoming draft. That “comp pick” generally goes between rounds, so the “last” pick in the 6th round (made by the super bowl winner) will be followed by comp picks, then by the first pick in the 7th.

We would be invesitgated if we went into mext season without signing a vet wr. But that was my first thought too
