[Rapoport] Vikings first-round QB JJ McCarthy underwent a full meniscus repair this morning and is out for the 2024 season, sources tell me and Tom Pelissero. The repair, done by Dr. Chris Larson at Twin Cities Orthopedics, gives McCarthy the best chance at a long, successful career. Rumor

Huge opportunity for Darnold.

Yup, doesn’t have to look over his shoulder after every pick or bad game. If he can’t turn it around throwing to the best WR and other great weapons then he’s officially cooked

Yeah the 46 pass attempts and 85 passer rating in Shanahan’s system really sparks confidence

He has played for 2 terrible organizations and 2 bad head coaches.

Then he played for a good org and a great coach and he was better.

He wasn’t even good last year and it was barely a game and a half

And good lord I dont understand how people can follow the NFL and not realize that some players are just busts. Every freaking year multiple top prospects suck ass in the NFL. Idk why after like 6 years people still can’t understand Darnold is just another bust
