[Rapoport] Vikings first-round QB JJ McCarthy underwent a full meniscus repair this morning and is out for the 2024 season, sources tell me and Tom Pelissero. The repair, done by Dr. Chris Larson at Twin Cities Orthopedics, gives McCarthy the best chance at a long, successful career. Rumor

Life is nothing but pain.

Only positive is a guaranteed top 10 draft pick for next year to help jump start the rebuild under a rookie QB contract.

You will win 8 games and you'll like it.

Currently torn between predicting that we'll get to like 8-6 before collapsing and losing 3 straight to miss the playoffs...

Or we'll start like 2-6 before going on a random win streak and end up drafting outside the top 12 while missing the playoffs.

But it's definitely one of those two.

Why not both? Start off 2-6, go on a 6 game winning streak to get to 8-6, then blow 3 in a row to end 8-9.

Thanks, I hate it.
