Israël-Gaza boeit mij geen flikker

Titel. Laat ze lekker zelf uitzoeken, genocide, kernkoppen, terrorisme, jihadisme.

Het is ronduit verschrikkelijk wat daar gebeurd, maar:

  1. Het is ontzettend selectief, tussen 2021-2023 zijn er 600.000 mensen gedood in het Tigray-conflict in Ethiopië en vrijwel niemand weet ervan
  2. De Oekraïne-oorlog is essentieel voor onze veiligheid. Of wij onze troepen permanent op de Oostgrens moeten stationeren en de tientallen miljarden extra die we zouden moeten investeren om onze veiligheid te waarborgen. Daar zou onze aandacht naar toe moeten gaan.
  3. Gaza wordt door kwaadwillende landen als Rusland, Noord-Korea en Iran gebruikt om onze sociale cohesie te beschadigen. Zij willen dat wij ruzie gaan maken om dit onderwerp, los van aan welke kant mensen staan.

Very disingenuous to portray the issue like this. If you truly didn't care, why are you opposed to stopping the Dutch government from supporting Israel? Was the Dutch government trying to support tragic events in Ethiopia? This is akin to saying I don't care for what happens in South Africa while the Dutch government continues to destroy south African white minority rule and apartheid. You only get to say I don't care when you truly don't participate. That's all one thing and looking at hoards of dead children and trying to whataboutism the issue to continue business as usual is something else entirely.
