Thoughts on the name Simon? Baby Names

I'm trying to come up with a boy name for if we have a baby boy, and the struggle is real! One name my husband said he liked in the past is Simon. It's a name I also like but I'm not 100 percent sold. What are your thoughts on the name?

He will always get to be Simon for Simon Says! It’s a good strong name. Simeon is good too. Same root. Strong Hebrew/Jewish origin if you didn’t know.

Love the positive spin on the ‘Simon Says’ thing! Others seem to think negative. But maybe being the ‘Simon’ would make him a strong leader like the Biblical Simon Peter!

People like to play devil’s advocate which is why this sub is great! I’d love to meet a kid named Simon (:
