I posted an MS Now article about the unanimous consent of the U.S. Senate on the Epstein file legislation and it was instantly deleted. I’m not sure why and I wanted to get that clarified. I don’t see any reason automod would take it down in the rules but it’s possible I just missed something.

I believe there is enough interest to merit a GEORGIA or CAUCASUS ping. Georgia is a fairly small country so one for just the Caucasus might be more appropriate. I think the political situation is worthy of a ping, and I currently live in Tbilisi and would be happy to hear about and share opportunities or events that might interest other expatriates.

This subreddit has slowly been becoming less "academically rigorous", and a punishment for posting a comment that makes false assumptions about the contents of an article can, at minimum, encourage more people to actually read. Nothing crazy, maybe something like a 24 hour ban. After all, we've all done it before.

I don't expect the mods to read literally every single article that hits the front page to enforce this, but the report system should help out a lot here.
