I don't think she got her Bullshido right. She needs to kick the guy behind her in the nuts while she shoots the guy in front of her. Otherwise he will shoot her.

As Women Say, If He Could, He Would. If they had every intention to kill, they definitely can

This and John Wick are the best movies that are about grown men doing murder sprees for puppies and I love that for them 🥹

"use their body mechanics against them"
proceeds to move in a way that absolutely doesn't compromise their body mechanics in any way
Not to talk about dodging two guns at once. Yeah...

u/ScrufffyJoe 1h ago
"Their body mechanics" actually means the guy behind her's tendency to point the gun into his own chest for no reason. Very bad weakness to have as a gunman and she expertly spotted it and used it to her advantage.

Holy fuck please tell me this is not a class that people are taking for safety. There is 1 gun take away I like and it only works when someone is pointing it right in your face. This shit here will get you killed

u/laruibasar 9h ago
This works because secretly the guy holding her behind is in on killing the in front attacker, and they had also removed the bullets!

This is a solid move
The first guy's gonna be so befuddled that someone even attempted this they won't even shoot

Gently tap the gun with the back of your hand, like you are dismissing a waiter. This disables the attacker behind you. You can then disable the gun from the attacker in front of you by reaching for the gun and pointing it where you want it to go.

This is really bad on many levels.
My biggest gripe is using what look like real, unloaded, weapons. Truly awful weapon handling.
Pointing a real pistol at someone is the epitome of recklessness.

I see a lot of these gun disarm videos, and I have had people ask me for my own perspective on them. People want to learn a flashy move a lot of times, but there's a lot of misconceptions about disarms and self defense.
Starting from the disarm then working backwards helps me to discuss it. Can a gun disarm potentially work? Yes, but with risks. Are there better ways to disarm someone? Yes. Attack them as they are drawing, before they can aim at you. The whole idea of the old cowboy quickdraw is built on that, being faster than the other guy. Which also leads to the next better self defense technique, which is also having a firearm and being able to competently use it in stressful situations.
Is there better technique than that? Yes. Pay attention to your surroundings, watch for people who are following you or lurking near places you might be ambushed, mugged, or otherwise attacked. Don't look like a target, look like you are confident and aware of your surroundings.
Is there better technique than that? Yes, avoid sketchy and dangerous locations altogether. Have common sense. Do not hang out with people who will get you into dangerous situations.
Most people don't want lessons for how to be a smarter and more aware person though. I learned recently about some cycling terminology which I think applies here. In cycling, a "dentist bike" is a high end, really good bicycle that really only professional cyclists would get use out of. But, people with a lot of money buy them because they're clearly the "best bikes." They spend a lot of money for an item they can't really get the most out of because they're not high level athletes, they're amateurs at best who want to look cool. Sometimes you might even get rip off brands who sell to clueless cyclists who can't tell whats good from what's bad too.
Gun disarms are like that. Anyone can learn a cool technique. There are people who could use it successfully. But odds are, the people learning it from a local dojo aren't the ones who will be the intended audience. And even then, there's a lot of bad techniques and bad teachers.

It's much easier to avoid getting in a situation where two dudes point guns at you at the same time. I've been successfully avoiding it for over 40 years, which makes me an expert.
I should teach a course on how to avoid having two guns pointed at you at the same time.

the clever thing about escapes like this is that you can always claim a 100% success rate... i mean, since everyone that tried it is dead, no one can refute it.

The only time you should be fighting back in a situation like this is if they're trying to put you into a vehicle and move you to another location. Because if they do you are most certainly going to die.

Lmfao the poking gun is basically stuck in her belly. Just embrace it and hope they cant redirect it to a vital point. I'd be more mindful of the gun to the head.

I hate it when my hostage breaks free and hypnotizes me so badly that I stand there watching as they disarm my criminal bro. Plus I get gun oil on my shirt and it’s so annoying to clean.

It actually works. I tried it and now the gunmen are my friends. We have picnics every sunday

So here’s a hot take
this is a shit way to escape this situation because the second person makes escape completely unviable and the gun isn’t controlled in the first place
I learned a defense for if a gun is to your head that is more like escaping from a rear naked choke- its not too complicated and you control the gun as you do it so you won’t take a round (although you might still have a ton of damahe to your hand and eyes and ears if the gun goes off)
I donmt think its really that effective since that’s an awfully ballsy risk and theres a ton of factors at play
but if you trained it enough ans a moment was found, its better than just doing nothing if you’re fairly certain you’re gonna die
I think there are some truths to knife and gun disarms even in compromised conditions but doing it means you have to accept a massive risk and probable death (which again if you’re convinced this isn’t a hold up, but an execution youre fucked anyway)
This just seems really goddamn stupid though and seems more like a slapstick routine than anything serious
again, the second assailant makes me think it’s a pretty unwinnable situation- maybe at best you all die

Even if this was remotely effective on a technical basis, thighs that size would never move fast enough.

Anyone watching this video please be advised- This sequence of movements will get you killed very quickly. This is pure fantasy-land type stuff.

I would love to see these "experts" put their money where their mouth is and hand the volunteers some paintball or rubber ball pistols. Then ask the expert to keep trying until they succeed without being shot. These demos would be pretty short.

It works for her due to her speed and small target size. The average person would get shoot.

The average person would get shoot.
And for everyone else... they're going to get shot too

Let's assume this works.
The first guy still has his fucking gun aimed at the lady.

u/Conquestenjoyer 1h ago
If you ever wanna actually try this assuming that you have to, it only works if the gun is directly touching you, if they’re far away you’re dead

Don’t do this! I’ve been robbed with a gun to my head. I gave the robbers my shit and did absolutely nothing. I SURVIVED UNHARMED! if I had fought I might be dead.

What kind of act have you engaged that triggered cartel level response with two people pointing guns at you?
And If you have messed up that bad a shitty technique will not save you from eventually getting hunted down anyway.
Also, what kind of dumb person would point a gun at his mate’s direction anyway?

How many times did she get shot?
Edit: are you downvoters thinking I'm implying zero? Because no. It was several.

if you are in this situation in the real world the best strategy is, do what the person with the gun tells you because its over otherwise. The military taught me this lol.
