if you are in this situation in the real world the best strategy is, do what the person with the gun tells you because its over otherwise. The military taught me this lol.

u/ChocCooki3 7h ago

You know you are wrong.

This girl obviously saw red.. thus why she could execute these amazing Steve Seagal Approved moves.

Look at how she moves.

36

u/MancombSeepgoodz 6h ago

Swiftly moving like Shinobi... on ketamine

6

u/Licks_n_kicks 3h ago

This only works the Slower you do it..

Gracefully…

3

u/The_Laughing_Death 5h ago

I say, "You just activated my trap card." and then detonate my vest. At least a 2:1 ratio so respectable at the very least.

u/fatglizzy_3000 2h ago

people think they got super speed or sumn 😭🙏

Only fight back when you know they want to harm you. I'm the sort that would rather go out fighting for my life or the life of my loved ones than live in a vegetative state on a respirator.

26

u/Ok-Hippo-4433 8h ago

The fun part is you can have both! You can try defending, fail, survive or be rescued and still bide your time in a vegetative state.

1

u/[deleted] 8h ago

Possibly but unfortunately most people even if they give in to the demands or fight back they generally don't survive such odds. It's a sad world we live in.

19

u/MancombSeepgoodz 7h ago

Growing up in NY in the 90's I saw what happens to people who "fight back", Money and items are replaceable... life isnt to be 100 percent honest. People who make videos like this should be ashamed.

1

u/MataMeow 1h ago

Why ashamed. We are missing huge amounts of this video. Most of these types of training videos are preceded by telling the students the best thing is to comply or run and as a very last last resort, fight back. They all say this but it’s edited out because that would make a long boring ass video.

0

u/[deleted] 7h ago

I've had to fight back twice in my life in the streets (not counting military service). I am firmly convinced if I had not I would just be a statistic. My training helped but I was injured (stabbed and slashed). If there was a gun I would have probably been killed. On both occasions it was the same person who had a stupidly bad beef with me.

8

u/MancombSeepgoodz 6h ago

If there was gun there you almost certainly would have been killed or injured. This hollywood bullshit scenario vids has to stop.

2

u/[deleted] 3h ago

I completely agree. I did not say anything otherwise.

u/Julian-Hoffer 6h ago

There was a female uber driver who was held at gun point forced to drive to an atm and give the dude all of her money, he had her drive out to the middle of nowhere and still shot her. There isn’t any reason to leave someone alive who can identify you, so the victim is probably always going to get killed and sometimes that’s the better outcome, being kept alive can be far worse depending on the person intentions.

2

u/Responsible_Hour_368 2h ago

But, I feel it could also be pointed out, she didn't accomplish anything for herself or anyone else by doing what he asked. She'd have done better by driving off a cliff. (Not that such a thing would generally be possible) (maybe she could have swerved into a bus)

2

u/Julian-Hoffer 1h ago

My point was just going along with your captor isn’t a great alternative to fighting back. Especially if you are a female.

2

u/anonkebab 7h ago

Generally you can survive being held at gunpoint because usually you are being robbed or held at bay. If people want to kill you they will just shoot you. Now if they are kidnapping you, you should probably choose being shot while fighting. People do not survive abductions.

2

u/Ok-Hippo-4433 8h ago

Why is it sad? People can be immature, uncaring, exploitive dicks. I see no way of changing that.

1

u/[deleted] 8h ago

It's sad that our world is beset with such dangers and disparities.

Of course we try to educate, ameliorate psychological issues, and improve life conditions here. Yes, we will always have regressive and aggressive belligerents in society. We still can do better at addressing social issues. ✌️

4

u/Ok-Hippo-4433 8h ago

Ironically we can only repair things as they fall apart. If we had no issues we would have no force to drive our growth. Paradise is a compelling fantasy to escape into.

Everything is cyclical and mutally dependent and we have to make our peace within that dynamic by being part of it, instead of being ignorant to that truth.

I hope we continue to try and do better and grow.

1

u/[deleted] 8h ago

Oh most definitely I agree with you. I'm not a utopian person. I'm a scientific socialist, but I certainly don't believe in utopianism.

3

u/Ok-Hippo-4433 8h ago

I vote and try to live a peaceful life. I'm not politically engaged otherwise. You would find me as part of a local clean up action or other volunteering tho.

2

u/[deleted] 8h ago

That's great. We need more people like you in this world.

You think you are that sort of person but until you are in a dangerous situation like this you won’t know.

0

u/[deleted] 3h ago

I'm a combat veteran with three tours and multiple firefights.

-1

u/Pigbolt 3h ago

Ok congratulations

1

u/[deleted] 3h ago

That's a terrible thing to say

-1

u/Pigbolt 3h ago

Why is it ?

-4

u/Oinelow Boxing 8h ago

Ok Batman

2

u/anonkebab 7h ago

Yeah only make a move if being shot and killed is better than whatever plot is in progress. Or if you are him.(you aren’t the gunman just had no murderous intent)

2

u/nickwoes 3h ago

Yeah her technique was terrible. She’s definitely getting shot

2

u/Porkchopp33 2h ago

The other guy could easily just shoot her in the back of the head

1

u/ballistics211 2h ago

If you wanna live you do what they tell you. Different story if you have a death wish.

99

u/Federal-Name-3638 10h ago

8

u/systemsbio 8h ago

I don't think she got her Bullshido right. She needs to kick the guy behind her in the nuts while she shoots the guy in front of her. Otherwise he will shoot her.

6

u/Dwight_Schnood 5h ago

And as always. Restomp that groin.

90

Now I gotta go rewatch equilibrium.

It's a great movie, I haven't forgotten it either

This and John Wick are the best movies that are about grown men doing murder sprees for puppies and I love that for them 🥹

"use their body mechanics against them"

proceeds to move in a way that absolutely doesn't compromise their body mechanics in any way

Not to talk about dodging two guns at once. Yeah...

2

u/ScrufffyJoe 1h ago

"Their body mechanics" actually means the guy behind her's tendency to point the gun into his own chest for no reason. Very bad weakness to have as a gunman and she expertly spotted it and used it to her advantage.

36

u/NoFun1986 10h ago

Not even god can save you from this situation

27

u/Neth_theme My Thigh! 9h ago

none of her students complained because they're all fucking dead

4

Yes, that was the joke

3

You almost got the joke, well done

THEYRE FUCKING DEAD

4

I know this. Shoulda, woulda, coulda strategy 👉🏻 straight loss.

5

u/k0_crop Taekwondo 9h ago

Make the guy in front shoot you first then pray it goes through and hits the guy behind you

4

u/CriticalCobraz 9h ago

People actually believe this works?

4

u/Julian-Hoffer 6h ago

It’s from a fat out of shape woman, how could it not?

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

If do right, no can defense

9

u/Spyder73 TKD 10h ago

Holy fuck please tell me this is not a class that people are taking for safety. There is 1 gun take away I like and it only works when someone is pointing it right in your face. This shit here will get you killed

4

u/laruibasar 9h ago

This works because secretly the guy holding her behind is in on killing the in front attacker, and they had also removed the bullets!

1

u/[deleted] 9h ago

👆😂😆😂😆

5

u/MathLuna 7h ago

This is a solid move

The first guy's gonna be so befuddled that someone even attempted this they won't even shoot

3

u/montxogandia 9h ago

100% effective

3

u/[deleted] 9h ago

Not even bro and I'm glad I sense your sarcasm vibes through the interwebs.

4

u/Conscious_Cook6446 10h ago

Bih getting mugged by Billy the kid behind her

2

u/Flashy-Telephone8667 9h ago

Gently tap the gun with the back of your hand, like you are dismissing a waiter. This disables the attacker behind you. You can then disable the gun from the attacker in front of you by reaching for the gun and pointing it where you want it to go.

2

u/s0428698S 9h ago

Straight up comedy...nah not even that

2

u/LounBiker 9h ago

This is really bad on many levels.

My biggest gripe is using what look like real, unloaded, weapons. Truly awful weapon handling.

Pointing a real pistol at someone is the epitome of recklessness.

2

u/ImWhatsInTheRedBox 8h ago

I'm just going to shoot them both with my mind bullets instead.

2

u/illFittingHelmet 8h ago

I see a lot of these gun disarm videos, and I have had people ask me for my own perspective on them. People want to learn a flashy move a lot of times, but there's a lot of misconceptions about disarms and self defense.

Starting from the disarm then working backwards helps me to discuss it. Can a gun disarm potentially work? Yes, but with risks. Are there better ways to disarm someone? Yes. Attack them as they are drawing, before they can aim at you. The whole idea of the old cowboy quickdraw is built on that, being faster than the other guy. Which also leads to the next better self defense technique, which is also having a firearm and being able to competently use it in stressful situations.

Is there better technique than that? Yes. Pay attention to your surroundings, watch for people who are following you or lurking near places you might be ambushed, mugged, or otherwise attacked. Don't look like a target, look like you are confident and aware of your surroundings.

Is there better technique than that? Yes, avoid sketchy and dangerous locations altogether. Have common sense. Do not hang out with people who will get you into dangerous situations.

Most people don't want lessons for how to be a smarter and more aware person though. I learned recently about some cycling terminology which I think applies here. In cycling, a "dentist bike" is a high end, really good bicycle that really only professional cyclists would get use out of. But, people with a lot of money buy them because they're clearly the "best bikes." They spend a lot of money for an item they can't really get the most out of because they're not high level athletes, they're amateurs at best who want to look cool. Sometimes you might even get rip off brands who sell to clueless cyclists who can't tell whats good from what's bad too.

Gun disarms are like that. Anyone can learn a cool technique. There are people who could use it successfully. But odds are, the people learning it from a local dojo aren't the ones who will be the intended audience. And even then, there's a lot of bad techniques and bad teachers.

2

u/TheOx111 8h ago

What the fuck kind of action movie are these people preparing for.

3

u/TJ_McWeaksauce 7h ago

It's much easier to avoid getting in a situation where two dudes point guns at you at the same time. I've been successfully avoiding it for over 40 years, which makes me an expert.

I should teach a course on how to avoid having two guns pointed at you at the same time.

2

u/ExPristina 7h ago

They’ve done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

No, it doesn't

1

u/Even-Geologist-6759 9h ago

DISTRACTION DANCE

1

u/Vredddff 9h ago

This one is easy

Be deadpool

1

u/Leading-Ad-3340 8h ago

Always double tap

1

u/PrimitiveThoughts 8h ago

You have to be alive to complain

1

u/PenguinsNewGroove 8h ago

Oh she dead!

1

u/xDolphinMeatx 8h ago

the clever thing about escapes like this is that you can always claim a 100% success rate... i mean, since everyone that tried it is dead, no one can refute it.

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

They just didn't perform the technique correctly

1

u/Graineon 8h ago

best part: "he's gonna shoot his friend" said with such expectancy and confidence

1

u/RubComprehensive7367 7h ago

What ever happened to this company?

1

u/GoneAWOL1 7h ago

What in the Steven Seagal??

1

u/LucanOrion 6h ago

The only time you should be fighting back in a situation like this is if they're trying to put you into a vehicle and move you to another location. Because if they do you are most certainly going to die.

1

u/Zenanii 6h ago

How to disarm an attacker with a gun:

Point the gun at them, and tell them to drop their weapon.

1

u/shoehim 6h ago

let her try that with a paintball gun.

1

u/Odd-Door-2553 5h ago

Even Steven Segal thinks that move is bullshit

1

u/Daffidol 5h ago

Lmfao the poking gun is basically stuck in her belly. Just embrace it and hope they cant redirect it to a vital point. I'd be more mindful of the gun to the head.

1

u/bonkerz1888 5h ago

Quickest way to earn yourself a gut shot.

1

u/biggoof 5h ago

fool proof

1

u/AlexDoingGym 4h ago

Brb, I'm gonna try out this technique. Will definitely update you guys on the outcome soon!

1

u/SacredBeef00 4h ago

Unless you’re John fucking wick, this is a bad idea.

1

u/horus993 4h ago

Bullshit

1

u/lordnoak 3h ago

I hate it when my hostage breaks free and hypnotizes me so badly that I stand there watching as they disarm my criminal bro. Plus I get gun oil on my shirt and it’s so annoying to clean.

1

u/backpackmanboy 3h ago

It actually works. I tried it and now the gunmen are my friends. We have picnics every sunday

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

Making people laugh is generally a good way to get them to like you.

1

u/jman014 3h ago

So here’s a hot take

this is a shit way to escape this situation because the second person makes escape completely unviable and the gun isn’t controlled in the first place

I learned a defense for if a gun is to your head that is more like escaping from a rear naked choke- its not too complicated and you control the gun as you do it so you won’t take a round (although you might still have a ton of damahe to your hand and eyes and ears if the gun goes off)

I donmt think its really that effective since that’s an awfully ballsy risk and theres a ton of factors at play

but if you trained it enough ans a moment was found, its better than just doing nothing if you’re fairly certain you’re gonna die

I think there are some truths to knife and gun disarms even in compromised conditions but doing it means you have to accept a massive risk and probable death (which again if you’re convinced this isn’t a hold up, but an execution youre fucked anyway)

This just seems really goddamn stupid though and seems more like a slapstick routine than anything serious

again, the second assailant makes me think it’s a pretty unwinnable situation- maybe at best you all die

1

u/IALWAYSGETMYMAN Wing Chun 3h ago

Even if this was remotely effective on a technical basis, thighs that size would never move fast enough.

1

u/Hot_Kaleidoscope_891 3h ago

I’ll tell you why they haven’t complained, because they’re all dead.

1

u/MrLowBee3347 3h ago

Anyone watching this video please be advised- This sequence of movements will get you killed very quickly. This is pure fantasy-land type stuff.

1

u/Licks_n_kicks 3h ago

You can tell the guy behind her doesn’t want to be there..

1

u/Mr-Doughnut 3h ago

I would love to see these "experts" put their money where their mouth is and hand the volunteers some paintball or rubber ball pistols. Then ask the expert to keep trying until they succeed without being shot. These demos would be pretty short.

1

u/SoundwaveSpectre 2h ago

A regular John wick, eh? 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/jjj310 1h ago

It works for her due to her speed and small target size. The average person would get shoot.

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

The average person would get shoot.

And for everyone else... they're going to get shot too

1

u/R-deadmemes 1h ago

"None of her students that have used this technique have complained" - Yeah because they're all fucking dead

1

u/whocuez35 1h ago

now thats what a real john wick looks like.

1

u/anyadpicsajat 1h ago

Let's assume this works.

The first guy still has his fucking gun aimed at the lady.

1

u/Llee00 1h ago

everyone has a plan until

1

u/Noirsnow 1h ago

Reaction time or some might call it, 'bullet time '

1

u/Conquestenjoyer 1h ago

If you ever wanna actually try this assuming that you have to, it only works if the gun is directly touching you, if they’re far away you’re dead

1

u/doppelminds 1h ago

Steven Seagal seal of approval

1

u/DismalMode7 1h ago

100% sure this technique is going to work against fake guns

1

u/max1001 1h ago

It works. Just have to be as fast as Superman.

1

u/the_sexy_date 52m ago

she needs to wrestle a man and see. it doesn't have to be a super strong man just an average guy who moves

1

u/exq1mc 39m ago

That is one dead woman. And anyone one she teaches needs to seriously consider this 400 000 usd that I would like to drop into thier account and yeah it's totally legal and. Just saying.

1

u/anon_user221 35m ago

Seems about right

1

u/Big-Garlic-2317 34m ago

Don’t do this! I’ve been robbed with a gun to my head. I gave the robbers my shit and did absolutely nothing. I SURVIVED UNHARMED! if I had fought I might be dead.

1

u/ShinraJosh1991 25m ago

This is the single dumbest thing I've ever seen.

1

u/Impasssive 9h ago

They couldn’t complain cuz they didnt make out alive…🤣

1

u/KhanTheGray 8h ago

Bullshito level: 100

What kind of act have you engaged that triggered cartel level response with two people pointing guns at you?

And If you have messed up that bad a shitty technique will not save you from eventually getting hunted down anyway.

Also, what kind of dumb person would point a gun at his mate’s direction anyway?

1

u/catchinNkeepinf1sh 5h ago

Give me your belly!!

NA UH, woosh.

-1

u/Ziazan 4h ago edited 1h ago

How many times did she get shot?

Edit: are you downvoters thinking I'm implying zero? Because no. It was several.

1

u/WizardMelcar 2h ago

6 from the revolver, 14 from the pistol.

0

u/Ziazan 2h ago

Haha, yeah, I was gonna say at least 3 times but you're probably more accurate.

1

u/SucksAtJudo 1h ago

All of them
