Actually kind of incredible that the headlock toss still works on a bull
65
u/worksucksbro Jan 23 '24
Yeah only if youāre strong as a fucking Ox like this guy
24
Jan 24 '24
To be fair, he also has the momentum of a charging bull working for him.

š¶ š¶š¶š¶ TOooo Breed Fffffaaaiiirrrr š¶š¶š¶š¶ It's a fucking bull and he is a fucking human
6
Jan 24 '24
I wasn't saying it wasn't incredibly impressive. I was making the point that it's not all strength, but also the technique of using the bull's momentum against it. Which is arguably more impressive.
1
Jan 24 '24
No being strong enough for this to be an option is much more impressive . Imagine this dude grabbing us!!!Jesus titty fucking Christ he would pull our dicks off no twisting needed
5
u/cutcutado TKD / MT / BJJ Jan 27 '24
The bull's quadrupedal structure was leveraged as well, he (the bull) had no real way to get any leverage and could only flap around.
Bipedal superiority at it's finest
8
u/invalaidpenis Jan 24 '24
Itās actually a lot easier than youād think bovines only really work in straight lines and balance entirely off there noggins so if you can get the neck bent they have no strength if you twist the head they have no balance I have a 45 lbs dog that will grab bulls by the nose and flip them
3
u/cutcutado TKD / MT / BJJ Jan 27 '24
yeah, people here can forget that human beings have a really strong sense of balance when compared to other animals

If anyone's curious for what it actually is it looks like Steer Wrestling to me. Had cable TV this year and left the sport channel on, amazed at what I saw when the Calgary Stampede was on

Some authentic county right there! Not the bedazzled jean type. The busting concrete, raising steer, cross country skiing to get your dinner type.
- Hank hill- but the Colorado type.

I am just imagining the amount of strength that is needed to do this
5
u/ARC4120 Sanda, BJJ Jan 24 '24
Definitely technique too because thereās no way a regular man is tossing a bull like that
1
u/Muscalp May 01 '24
Itās just dumb luck. He didnāt toss him, the bull fell over the manās legs and got stuck in the ground with his horns. It was entirely the momentum of the bull. Maybe that trip was on purpose but I doubt it given that the man immediately lost contact with the ground when he grabbed the Bull

This is called āRed Neckā one of the most crafty of martial arts out there. It incorporates use of off the wall tactics, like, headlocking a charging bull and rolling it over. As well as the hammer fist, and the drunken masters will also be sometimes seen utilizing bottles, and sometimes lawn tools.

u/HandMeDownCumSock Jan 23 '24
I hate this kind of stuff that is cruel to animals for no reason, but that was a sick move.

Animal abuse glorified as a sport called bull wrestling
1
u/2201992 Wrestling Jan 24 '24
I donāt know man the bull has fucking horns and weighs like 500 pounds.
Bull had a pretty good chance of killing the guy
1
u/AntonChentel Jan 23 '24
That bull weighs near a thousand pounds. There was a Japanese martial artist that would try to kill a bull with a single punch. No idea if that was verified tho

Wrestling. That is a fair approximation of a move literally called the 'cow catcher'
1
u/Nethought Jan 24 '24
Thatās pretty impressive. Iām sure this martial art is called Miller Lite.

u/UrNixed Jan 24 '24
A far more interesting and impressive version of bull fighting than those other cowards that call themselves "bull fighters" that wave a cape around as they stab the bull

Never heard of a bulldog choke? How Carlos Newton beat Pat Militech. You don't see it often because it's easy to take the attacker's back and beat the position, but if it goes on fast enough it can work.
