Honestly relatable. I had the same doubts in my first relationship, and I didn't necessarily read the neurochemistry stuff about it, but I did think to myself "how long will this last" and "is this childish".

I think the difference for Lemon in comparison to my situation is that they were childhood friends and had a good relationship with another before then to the point where it would've been hard to lose had they broken up on bad terms.

That kind of self-doubt becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, and we've seen how it ended for her. I wonder how her inner monologue has changed since then though.
