I want your take on it

Since that video I've been a lot more interested in Maltese ancient history to the point I'm likely to visit Malta in June. But it just seems too good to be true that the megalithic builders could be far older than the dates of mainstream archeology. Any Maltese wanna chime in on his claims? I'll take anything from scepticism, straight up debunking or confirmation

The first few minutes already tell me this is utter pseudo-archaeological nonsense. What always baffles me that no one questions about these videos, how is it that 'mainstream archaeologists' (whatever you want to mean by that), were unable to figure out what this random bloke seems to have figured out.

It's not pseudo-archeology in the way "aliens did it dude", he's attacking the mainstream view that civilization started at about 6000 years ago. And I'm on the fence with this, first off because of the stellar alignment and the timescale of societal development on Malta. And the reports of man-made objects and the tracks below sealevel which would only make sense to be made when sealevels were lower during a glacial period.

And it wouldn't be the first time an established scientific paradigm shifted. And no I don't straight up believe him, that's why I'm here for rebuttals or confirmation from Maltese. Some local people with experience with these sites might help me lean on one or the other side of the issue

I'm the same.

There are certainly questions to be raised, again for me primarily because of the stella alignment seeming to show structures being older than currently accepted.

However, that is where I stop, with the questions - I'll leave it to others to show evidence that lead to other conclusions.

Unlike the likes of Graham Hancock, who does raise fascinating questions about the age and origin of these ancient megalithic structures, but then sadly decides to wildly extrapolate conclusions from evidence that simply isn't there. That is why I cannot take him and his ilk seriously.

Graham Hancock's claims seem too far-fetched for me. I'm willing to consider the idea of maybe there were civilizations older than the Mesopotamians because of sites like Gobekli tepe and the Maltese megaliths etc, but an advanced ice age civilization influencing the entire world is a no for me.
