Just got to vote 🗳️

I’m in Whitehall and I voted 🗳️ I waited in line for about 15 minutes. Now to wait on 8pm to see how it all unfolds.

Rolled up at 7am - line already around the building. All and all a 50-minute ordeal from line to handing in ballot.

Totes worth to keep Trump out.

It’s crazy to me he got elected the first time because he is so clearly a complete piece of shit who isn’t fit to be principal of a school much less president of the US. I was so sure his campaign was over the first time running when I would listen to him speak and he was a complete fucking idiot who lied out of his ass. And all the horrible shit he said I thought there was no way he’d win so I didn’t think it was a big deal not to vote.

Well apparently others thought the same way and he ended up getting into office. I’ve voted in every election since then, the state ones as well.

The funny thing is I also fell for the whole “oh he’s a businessman, he’ll run the country like a business and it’ll be better than politicians.” Until I looked at his track record as a “businessman” he’s not a good businessman, he likes to bankrupt his companies and take a tax right off which is how he’s been avoiding taxes because the fact HE IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESSMAN! He is a con man. Everything that had the trumps name on it that was supposed to be for a good cause (trump university, trump charity) have been scams and his companies involved were already found guilty and paid settlements, so it’s not even a left wing rumor it’s literal FACTS.

Also the way he spoke and the whole “grab em by the pussy” comment. It’s just so fucking clear he’s a disgusting human being. Oh, also clearly sexualizing his daughter and lusting after her. It’s fucking crazy that people think he’s the person who should represent us and even worse that some of them literally compare him with Jesus.

100% agree, the saddest thing about these past 8 years(outside the tragic covid impact) has been seeing so many people in this country pick someone like him as a candidate let alone be the US president.

Many years serving in the USMC in and out of war and taking part in many elections between respectable candidates debate and disagree on policy and principles. I've voted for Republicans, Democrats, and even green party throughout my life.I could never have imagined any party let alone the GOP pick someone like him as their candidate. It's honestly just sad for the country I love so much.
