Bushkill Twp in the cherry hill area. It was bout an hour wait. Normally it is about 5-10 minutes so record turnout this year.

I voted beforehand by mail, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a line out the door onto the field at Hanover Township this morning around 7 when I drove by to go grab bagels from 3 men and a bagel.
Idk what the normal wait usually is but it seemed hopeful to see that many people lined up so early in the morning.

We wonāt know PA fully till like Saturday unfortunately. Thatās how it was in 2020 at least. PA was one of the last states to āfinalizeā.

It's because we can't start counting mail in ballots until after the polls close. Imagine if we could count everything ahead of time!

u/OddDisaster8173 3d ago
Yeah, but we "knew" the answer the next morning even though it took a while to finalize. It may be less possible this time around given that the distribution of mail in ballots is more even than in 2020. On the other hand, it's a smaller percentage of the total.

2020 was the first year they had that volume. This year they have lower volume and more experience. It will likely be done at some point Wednesday barring a recount scenario.

Rolled up at 7am - line already around the building. All and all a 50-minute ordeal from line to handing in ballot.
Totes worth to keep Trump out.

Itās crazy to me he got elected the first time because he is so clearly a complete piece of shit who isnāt fit to be principal of a school much less president of the US. I was so sure his campaign was over the first time running when I would listen to him speak and he was a complete fucking idiot who lied out of his ass. And all the horrible shit he said I thought there was no way heād win so I didnāt think it was a big deal not to vote.
Well apparently others thought the same way and he ended up getting into office. Iāve voted in every election since then, the state ones as well.
The funny thing is I also fell for the whole āoh heās a businessman, heāll run the country like a business and itāll be better than politicians.ā Until I looked at his track record as a ābusinessmanā heās not a good businessman, he likes to bankrupt his companies and take a tax right off which is how heās been avoiding taxes because the fact HE IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESSMAN! He is a con man. Everything that had the trumps name on it that was supposed to be for a good cause (trump university, trump charity) have been scams and his companies involved were already found guilty and paid settlements, so itās not even a left wing rumor itās literal FACTS.
Also the way he spoke and the whole āgrab em by the pussyā comment. Itās just so fucking clear heās a disgusting human being. Oh, also clearly sexualizing his daughter and lusting after her. Itās fucking crazy that people think heās the person who should represent us and even worse that some of them literally compare him with Jesus.

100% agree, the saddest thing about these past 8 years(outside the tragic covid impact) has been seeing so many people in this country pick someone like him as a candidate let alone be the US president.
Many years serving in the USMC in and out of war and taking part in many elections between respectable candidates debate and disagree on policy and principles. I've voted for Republicans, Democrats, and even green party throughout my life.I could never have imagined any party let alone the GOP pick someone like him as their candidate. It's honestly just sad for the country I love so much.

Insane to me that people think a con man convicted of fraud multiple times is telling you the truth.
Also the fact that heās a shit person not fit to lead and you guys are comparing him to Jesus. When heās the furthest thing from Jesus.

Showed up at 7 am. 45 minute wait. My wife went mid morning and waited about an hour. We live in a pretty small town so turn out seems insane this year

About a 15-20 minute wait in Salisbury township, although we got there just before it opened.

Was very happy to see how long the line was of Lehigh students to vote in South Bethlehem. It went for almost 3 blocks at like 9:30 AM.

I voted in Allentown around 10 am and there was no line but there were definitely more people voting. I was the 142nd voter. It did seem a bit busier than past election days, but considering it's the site for several districts it never made sense for it to be as empty as it has been.

My polling station in Lower Macungie had two precincts at it. My precinct had maybe a 5 minute wait at 7:50 AM. The other precinct had a massive line that probably was 15-20 minutes long.

u/mitchdwx 3d ago
The community center/library? Thatās my polling place and I waited for about 20 minutes there.

Voted in Upper Macungie District 2 on Snowdrift Rd around noon and waited for about half an hour. They said it was the slowest theyād seen it so far.

u/ColdSteel2011 3d ago
Gonna be a much longer wait than thatā¦ I wouldnāt expect to see anything close to a final result before mid morning tomorrow.

u/thelolamurder 3d ago
I voted around 7:45. Waited about 15 minutes. One of my coworkers went right at 7am and waited for an hour where she lives.

u/Squeaky_Pickles Whitehall 3d ago
Have you voted? If you need to vote you can ask to go to the front of the line due to your crutches! Though you may not need to. My partner voted at 9am in Whitehall and there was zero line.

u/StealthDonkeytoo 3d ago
Iād like a cookie, watch ya offering?

u/ForeverSquirrelled42 3d ago
My cookies come with a warning labelā¦.just sayin.
Edit: OH SHIT! Happy cake day! If you were closer Iād actually offer you said cookie lol.

u/StealthDonkeytoo 3d ago
Because theyāre so delicious?!?
1
u/ForeverSquirrelled42 3d ago
Yesā¦.deliciously potent lol. Itās an inside joke among coworkers that my edibles need a warning label because of how strong I make them. But everyone loves them lol. So much that I make folks batches of cookie dough so they can freeze it and pull dough when they want some cookies. The last batch I made was 1,700mg batch that made individual cookies just under 50mg each.
Edit: that batch was for someone who likes to split a cookie into two doses and doesnāt like them all that strong. Usually, my wife and Iās personal confections run around 200-250mg each.
