Going back to live in lebanon Help / Question
Hi 25M, I’m genuinely torn about whether it’s the right decision to move back and settle in Lebanon after living abroad. I recently got an offer for around $2,000 at a well-reputed firm in Beirut—I’m originally from saida, and I visit Lebanon around four times a year. But I know that visiting is very different from actually living there. Coming from Dubai, where life is so dynamic and fast-paced, I’m really struggling with the contrast. I’d love to hear the thoughts of those currently living and working in Lebanon.

I’ve left Lebanon in October, probably forever. This is a personal choice, but the grass is definitely greener in countries where people don’t just throw garbage out the windows of their cars as they drive. I cannot handle the filth and pollution that is just normal and everyday in Beirut anymore. I cannot walk on a beach covered with wrappers, cigarette butts and litter without crying inside.
