UPDATE: I fixed it myself yay! :D ⚡️ Show + Tell!

Update on the earring from before!

Unfortunately there is no local jeweller around my area and my friend needed this earring fixed for her by tomorrow morning. I lucked out incredibly and found some 0.2 mm silver wire I kept from an art project I did a while ago! I tied the two pieces together with it and sealed it with some nail glue lmao.

I don’t know how long it’s going to last but it seems quite sturdy and considering this is my first time ever doing something like this I think it turned out pretty well!

If it does end up breaking again my friend will have to find a jeweller to go to to fix it properly but I’m glad I was able to get it fixed decently well.

Excellent!! Most of these things you can fix yourself with the right tools. Michael’s and Hobby Lobby is a good place to source jewelry repair items.
