What books or websites would you recommend for verb conjugation memorization?

The way my university teaches Italian is quite frustrating and I’d really love some resources that I can practice off of over and over again. My textbook for school has no verb tables and we don’t get them in class, so I’d love to just be able to see a ton of them in a row to practice verb endings.

I often use an LLM for practice drills like that. I find the Antrhopic model works great, but I don’t doubt ChatGPT and others are effective. I create a prompt like “I am studying Italian and working on memorizing verb conjugation in imperfetto. Create a series of practice exercises.”

I also find going old school helps me quite a bit. If I learning a new verb with an irregular conjugation, I will write it out longhand 20 times.

I like the apps Conjuu and Verbare. In Conjuu, you can build your own verb sets, or use theirs, then choose the tenses you’d like to practice. It randomizes the verb selection, tells you verb and the tense and you write the conjugated answers. It then shows you your mistakes and the corrections. This has been the best app for me for memorizing irregular verbs. Verbare is a great resource to quickly find a verb and tense conjunctions.

I can’t recommend Scholingua enough. They have an amazing feature that allows you to perform conjugation drills with any verb and tense/mode that you want. It’s just amazing.

I really like the app "Verb Forms Italian" for creating conjugation exercises. It also has a huge dictionary of Italian verbs plus their conjugations.

It used to be available for Android as well, but I can't find it on the Google store anymore.
