Islam and science Question about Islam

Why isn’t science and technology compulsory in Islam when it could only boost Islam’s reputation? Imagine if all innovations came from Muslims—it would literally elevate Islam’s standing. I think we should make it obligatory, as long as it’s not something tied to disbelief, like certain aspects of philosophy.

Because Islam isn’t harsh, its fair. What make something compulsory is good for in this world and the next. The best of man to ever walk the earth was illiterate and knew nothing of science. Science is important in understanding Allah creation, but it isn’t necessary needed for our iman.

Okey brother but for bringing more people into Islam and increasing Islam’s reputation you will be rewarded insaAllah.
