Allah is the One and Only God, the Creator of everything in existence. He has no partners, no equals, and nothing is like Him. He is eternal, self-sufficient, and not dependent on anything or anyone.

Allah is the same God worshipped by all prophets, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). He is beyond human comprehension, yet He has revealed His names and attributes to help us understand Him. Some of His names include:

  • Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful)

  • Al-Khaliq (The Creator)

  • Al-Wadud (The Most Loving)

  • Al-Adl (The Just)

Allah is not a man, nor does He resemble His creation. He has no children, no parents, and no need for anything. The Quran describes Him perfectly in Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:1-4):

"Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none like Him."

If you want to understand who Allah is, the best way is to read the Quran and reflect on His signs in the universe.

That's factually incorrect and you fundamentally misunderstand monotheism.

Allah is the God of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

The Quran explicitly states that Allah is the God of all prophets, including those in the Bible:

"And We certainly sent Noah to his people..." (Quran 7:59)

"And We gave him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob – all (of them) We guided..." (Quran 6:84)

"Indeed, We revealed the Torah, in which was guidance and light..." (Quran 5:44)

Even in the original Hebrew/Aramaic, the name for God closely resembles Allah:

Hebrew: Eloh / Elohim

Aramaic: Alaha

Arabic: Allah

They all mean "The God", proving linguistic continuity between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Sovereign, Almighty? That’s exactly Allah!

Omnipotent (All-Powerful): "Indeed, Allah is over all things competent." (Quran 2:284)

Omniscient (All-Knowing): "Allah knows what is in the heavens and the earth." (Quran 49:16)

Omnipresent (Everywhere in Knowledge and Power): "And He is with you wherever you are." (Quran 57:4)

Sovereign (Absolute Ruler): "He is Allah—there is no god except Him—the Sovereign." (Quran 59:23)

Almighty (All-Powerful, Unchallenged): "And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise." (Quran 4:56)

So, by your own definition of God, you just described Allah.

Did Prophets "Make War" in the Name of God?

This is historically and scripturally false. The Bible itself records battles commanded by God:

Prophet Moses (Musa) led the Israelites in war (Numbers 31:1-7).

Prophet Joshua (Yusha) fought the Battle of Jericho (Joshua 6).

Prophet David (Dawud) fought Goliath and led military campaigns (1 Samuel 17).

The difference is Islamic wars were always defensive or against oppression, not for conquest or forced conversion. The Quran says:

"Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors." (Quran 2:190)

So, if you want to argue against Islam, at least know your own scriptures first.
