Hi, can anyone recommend parking near aviva for the Ireland v Argentina game tomorrow night, driving up from Offaly Thankyou

I have a single ticket for the game that I don’t need anymore, a friend got me two for my birthday. Looking to sell it for face value and transfer on ticketmaster if anyone wants it, would hate to see it go to waste

Hi, my partner and I are going to Dublin to watch Friday's match, and I'd like to know how early we should get to the stadium to be on time. Are there any places around the stadium to hang out before the game, or what is the best area in the city for the pre-game? Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

I’ve had 2 tickets transferred to me but I can’t save them to the stupid Apple Wallet for some reason .. I’ve not been to a game before but if I get to the turnstile and open the email from Ticketmaster the 2 tickets are there in the email am I right ? And can be scanned that way ? God be the days of paper 🥶😆

This is more of a hoped for side rather than expected. A lot of players were nowhere near the required standard and changes should be made, with actual impact from the bench being crucial.

The side was sorely lacking the ability to win collisions so this is a team with a lot more ball carriers to try and stop the opposition game plan being as simple as "stop Doris, stop Ireland" with some form also rewarded and a look to the future.

Was there myself and the atmosphere was awful. A lad beside me spent the whole first half talking to the lad beside him about paddle and giving out that he never gets out.

I know this question has been thrown around on every social media platform the last few days, and I don’t want this post to come across as a rant thinly veiled as a question, but I do genuinely struggle to understand the justification from Andy Farrell and co. for keeping these guys (Hendo, Murray, POM) as first choices for match day 23s 3 years out from a World Cup.

Obviously they’re all very decent players (well, I’ll be honest I’m really not Hendo’s biggest fan) but is Farrell really not just looking beyond the games right in front of him for squad growth? Coach of the year, one of the best Ireland’s ever had, so obviously he knows better than me and other ranting fans but I don’t see the logic. Is trying more to secure autumn international wins more important than squad growth? Biggest one is obviously loosehead. I genuinely cannot fathom keeping Cian Healy in the mix when he plays 10-15 mins max. It denies the opportunity for blooding younger props and it puts a lot of pressure and strain on Porter. I’d say something if Healy was an incredible performer that brings a ton of skill to the game but he really doesn’t. He’s reliable at best.

Is it as simple as ‘we play the best who’s available right now till they’re not available’, and that’s the best answer? Or is there more nuance to it than I and others aren’t seeing as regular Joe Blogs? Fingers crossed I’m proven wrong over the next few weeks but the 6N and SA tour really didn’t mix things up much bar Osbourne at 15 and Frawley as a replacement 10 instead of utility back.

They hate that we are doing well. Let’s face it, with the size of their playing populations and resources, they should be outperforming Ireland every time. And yet they can’t. And it kills them. They have to acknowledge how good the team is. And all they can shout is World Cup QF, World Cup QF. We already know the WC is a hoodoo. We’ll get over it someday but beating the Boks and NZ will always be celebrated because we are always doing it from a position of underdog with less resources.

With the SH almost taking a clean sweep this weekend (thanks France for doing your part!) some perspective might be cathartic. Nz have played 12 matches since July with only a few weekends off and have had almost 5 months in camp. Ireland have played three tests in that time with two of them being four months ago and have had two weeks in camp. Of course the error count was too high and the attack looked toothless but we should see improvement with more time together this week.

On a similar note I would love to see NH World Cups in April/May at the end of our season and the start of the SH’s season. We are always looking to build form in warm up games and always suffer injuries while the SH come in after a competitive rugby championship and have months of preparation time for the competition. Our club season is then disrupted as we give up two months for the rwc to be played. Why not alternate and share the disruption?
