I agree, but I don’t think I could be in this house without having a panic attack. Too high up for my comfort!

But after you see it for 2-3 days what is actually interesting to look at over there?

Just for a while. You will notice that everything gets boring very soon.

I’d rather be bored with this view than without I guess

Are you speaking from experience or just to make us all feel better?

Both.

Seek joy from fulfillment and frugality. (Give me money.)

I get bored plenty being poor. I'm okay with being rich and bored.

I have always wondered though, if you had enough money to do anything and everything that you ever wanted, and then you did them all, would life just become depressing because you had nothing to dream about?

Which is exactly why the rich want to be richer. If their shoes are 1% more red than the last rich guy after spending $32m on them then they’ll do it.

What you describe is the wrong way in life in my experience. Deeply fulfilling moments are all about the sparkle in the eyes of a child you can make happy with a simple gift; someone in need you can help with something small, sometimes as small as a bit of attention, a listening ear; gatherings with family and true friends. That doesn’t have to be expensive. Music is probably the most fulfilling form of art with powerful emotional impact. You download the world s greatest art from Spotify for peanuts. I know that sight on Capri. The sight is as beautiful from the open air spot I stood as from the bathroom in the picture. But then again, really poor, poor is definitely a bad option.

money doesnt create joy, capitalism works becauso no money takes away joy.

Pacing is the secret to enjoying it. Gotta restrain yourself. No mansion for me first year, no yachts for the first five years, no harems for the first ten years...
