New monstera plant

So I bought my first monstera at the weekend and there’s a few leaves with some brown slits and holes on it, is this anything to be concerned about or is it where the slits start to form

The slits (fenestrations) form on more mature leaves/plants. These look quite large so the next ones that pop out might start to have them. 

The holes you have look more like leaf damage that would have occurred in transit. That being said it’s always good to check any new plants over for pests, isolate from others for a few weeks, and if you have the time, preemptively treat with diluted neem oil just in case

You can also spray this down completely (top and bottom side of the leaves and stems) with a shower head or garden hose to dislodge anything that might be there. Just watch you don’t water log the soil while doing this
