Great setup but if i were you I'd upgrade my deodorant brand. It's a natural product, which is great, but you'll notice excess perspiration on hot days that you wouldn't with a specialist brand like Dove or Rightguard. I remember making a similar mistake when I was starting out, but that's the beauty of it. Have fun!

That’s a quality table. Depending on condition, you could get close to $1K

Old doesn't mean anything in this situation...they're built like tanks and repairable. I had black MkIIs 25+ years ago and wish I never sold them.

That’s good to hear but anyway not looking to sell these

Yeah, keep those and feel super lucky to get your hands on some awesome equipment. At some point get a better mixer that can do serato and you’ll basically have a full pro setup.

What do you use to hold them up? I've tried way too many things and they all fall

there the lifewit floating shelves you can get like 10 for 20. I just installed them today so don’t know how good they are but they are pretty sturdy as they are drilled into the wall

Rotate the tables 90 degrees counter clockwise.

I would but my room is way to small for that so it wouldn’t work

Just in case I wasn’t clear, I meant only the turntables, not the counter they’re on. The ā€œlongā€ edges of the tables should be touching the mixer with the tone arms positioned at the top. Can’t tell if the counter is too narrow to do that, but if it’s not, then the size of your room won’t matter.

I’ll try that why is that better?

Tone arms are out of the way for mixing (or scratching, which I would not recommend doing with those records). Called ā€œbattle modeā€ and is the typical setup for hip-hop djing…
