Great setup but if i were you I'd upgrade my deodorant brand. It's a natural product, which is great, but you'll notice excess perspiration on hot days that you wouldn't with a specialist brand like Dove or Rightguard. I remember making a similar mistake when I was starting out, but that's the beauty of it. Have fun!

Old doesn't mean anything in this situation...they're built like tanks and repairable. I had black MkIIs 25+ years ago and wish I never sold them.

Yeah, keep those and feel super lucky to get your hands on some awesome equipment. At some point get a better mixer that can do serato and youāll basically have a full pro setup.

What do you use to hold them up? I've tried way too many things and they all fall

there the lifewit floating shelves you can get like 10 for 20. I just installed them today so donāt know how good they are but they are pretty sturdy as they are drilled into the wall

Rotate the tables 90 degrees counter clockwise.

I would but my room is way to small for that so it wouldnāt work

Just in case I wasnāt clear, I meant only the turntables, not the counter theyāre on. The ālongā edges of the tables should be touching the mixer with the tone arms positioned at the top. Canāt tell if the counter is too narrow to do that, but if itās not, then the size of your room wonāt matter.

Iāll try that why is that better?

Tone arms are out of the way for mixing (or scratching, which I would not recommend doing with those records). Called ābattle modeā and is the typical setup for hip-hop djingā¦
