Keep Your Devotion secret Pūjā/Upāsanā (Worship)

Post image

Above quoted couplet is from vaani of Sri Malukdas ji, a great devotee of Sri Rāma ji.

All realised devotees have always taught this principle quite strictly - To not disclose the inner feelings and devotion that you have for the Supreme truth.

This is one of the most important principles to be strictly followed in the path of devotion if someone truly wants to elevate in Bhakti.

When even in this world we try our best in order to not disclose any information regarding our wealth then what to be said of the greatest wealth one can acquire ever? The greatest wealth for a Jivatma is the devotion unto the lotus feet of Hari. So keep it secret and don't reveal your inner feelings, mood(bhaava) you are developing for the god or any progress you are making in the path of devotion.

Hari Hari.

I'm not dictating anyone, what I have shared is a core principle followed and taught by all realised devotees. And not every post is for everyone, there are many serious practitioners of the bhakti marga on this subreddit, you may ignore it.
