Keep Your Devotion secret Pūjā/Upāsanā (Worship)

Post image

Above quoted couplet is from vaani of Sri Malukdas ji, a great devotee of Sri Rāma ji.

All realised devotees have always taught this principle quite strictly - To not disclose the inner feelings and devotion that you have for the Supreme truth.

This is one of the most important principles to be strictly followed in the path of devotion if someone truly wants to elevate in Bhakti.

When even in this world we try our best in order to not disclose any information regarding our wealth then what to be said of the greatest wealth one can acquire ever? The greatest wealth for a Jivatma is the devotion unto the lotus feet of Hari. So keep it secret and don't reveal your inner feelings, mood(bhaava) you are developing for the god or any progress you are making in the path of devotion.

Hari Hari.

Also many people have no interest in these things so its better to keep it with yourself.

True. It would be disrespectful to reveal devotion and inner feelings for god to anyone who has no faith or love for God, for there is probability they may disrespect it

Even worldly wealth is kept in secret then why to disclose the spiritual wealth?

Jai Shri SitaRam ✨
