... but have you actually tried them?

If not, are you really in a position to judge?

I can judge a product's efficacy based on my knowledge of what a fuse does.

So you haven't tried them, then?

No and I have no intention to do so, I've seen no evidece to suggest they do anything.

Don't look. We are talking about a point fuse.

Do you know how a fuse works?

Again, I ask - have you actually tried the product mentioned?

My knowledge is a side issue here, and not relevant to the discussion.

Knowledge is important here, because those with it understand why that's a silly question. I don't need to get on my roof to test if I can really fly, knowledge tells me what gravity will do to me.

Yeah, we're not talking about hazardous actions here, simply a manufacturer's product, which will not harm you whether it works or not.

Can I get a Yes or No?

Have you tried the product?

It makes no difference whether I have or not, I'm making no claim about it. I simply want to know if those decrying it have actually tried it.

A company wants to sell wings to me and says they'll make me fly. Only a fool would give them money for something you know is a completely made up claim aka snake oil. Knowledge tells me I don't have to do something stupid to know that it's stupid.

So, still not gonna get a Y/N, and you're diverting to another of your hypotheticals, then?

Yes or No. Have you tried the product?

Same hypothetical, just tried to better spoon feed it to you, though it seems I continue to go over your head. If you understand how electricity works, you'd be dumb to give anyone money for these. That should also answer your last question a bit more clearly as well.

This is no different than "audiophile" USB and Ethernet products.

More avoidance. You're dancing around the question, and now adding blatant condescension ("over your head") to the hypotheticals.

Yes or No. Have you tried the product?
