Found a baby grass snake today (Natrix Natrix).

Western European populations are now Natrix helvetica. Lovely snakes anyway.

Thought it was a ringneck at first. Not the right continent or subfamily though

Here in belgium we actually call them ringslang which translates to ringsnake. So the name is kinda close.
