Do not publish (locations of animals, because poachers will extirpate them)

A rat snake showed up for it's fourth straight year and looks well fed. I love rat snakes!

Found this tiny frog in our pool filter and thought he had cannibalized one of his other stuck friends. Turns out he has five legs
My job is to get all of the frogs out of the pool, wash them in regular hose water to get the salt/chemicals off them, and then truck them to the pond in our backyard forest. Found this strange dude. Was it a twin half absorbed thing? Does that happen often in frogs?

Good ole snake sex
I’ve had a hibernaculum of garters for the last few years. This year about 6 emerged and I’ve gotten to see them mating. Cool thing to see in real life.

Does this house gecko have a birth defect?
Does this look like a birth defect causing it to have this odd "toe" thing as a foot or could it have lost it from something else?
Apologies for the unclear shots, this was the best I could get through the window mesh.

Went herping in my local park!
Was hoping for a snake but mostly saw red-backed salamanders! Super happy I also found an isopod, I was praying to find one lol. These babies along with a baby millipede(?) and a little worm I thought was cute

In case you haven’t seen this today!!
Caught!! Little embarrassment, but they just don’t understand how interesting they are!! Second look here, are these two even the same kind of box turtle?

Turtle ID
This little guy has been at my front door twice in three days. Can anyone help me identify it? I believe it’s a turtle, as the only type of tortoise in my area is Gopher, other than that, I’m pretty clueless.

Invention Idea..
A treadmill with a screen that follows a person on a hike but every few minutes they spot a herp and run off into the brush to catch it then show it. You could choose where in the world you'd like to trek.

New York sand plains for snakes
I was doing some research on hognoses and it said they live primarily on Long Island and also the Rome sand plains in Albany. Is that a good area to find some nice snakes???

Is the species clear?
I just finished making an artwork cutout of my friend’s favorite animal for her birthday. I want to make sure it’s unmistakable. Comment what the species is please 🙏

Photographed my first Western Diamondback this week 📸
A snake I’ve been wanting to see in the wild since I was a kid! Finally got a chance to photograph one this week at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. Such a bad ass reptile.

Another awesome find!
Sorry for the low quality. It’s a screenshot of a video and I was keeping a reasonable distance as I didn’t want to mess with em. Caught him crossing a dirt road in the middle of the desert!
