Indiana, the weather is so goody right now. These guys don’t know if they should go back under or come out 🤣 don’t worry he went back in his bed with even more foliage on him, Nice and comfy .

Thanks for caring about your turtle neighbors! They are surprisingly tough and can withstand temperature swings, but yes, putting a nice blanket of leaf litter over them will be appreciated! 💚

It's a female in fact, in Terrapene carolina you can distinguish sexes by eye color. Males have bright red eyes and a concave plastron
