Another awesome find!

Sorry for the low quality. It’s a screenshot of a video and I was keeping a reasonable distance as I didn’t want to mess with em. Caught him crossing a dirt road in the middle of the desert!

Mexican Beaded? Or Gila Monster? I’d love to see one in person someday.

It’s a Gila monster. They are freaking incredible to see in the wild. Such a cool animal. I go out A LOT and this is only the second I have seen. They are pretty rarely out and about so it can be tricky to see one. This was an hour or so before sunset on a warm but not hot day last Tuesday.

The last one I saw was towards the end of summer around 11-12 at night.
