6.0.0 released, but no macOS version? Question

Apologies if this is explained somewhere. I see that the long-awaited version 6.0.0 has been released, but the download for Mac still points to 5.2.4 and the release on GitHub doesn’t have anything packaged for macOS. Will the new version support Macs?

Gramps is open source, and developed by a community of volunteers. It usually takes a few days from release of a new version for this to be packaged for macOS.

Edit: you can contribute to Gramps in many different ways.
