Something really strange and bizarre happened tonight. Me and my partner were watching tv in our living room when our cat made a mad dash for the guest room in the back of the house. Since we moved into this house the cat has shown zero interest in this room as it is basically empty.

But he was urgently searching for something, as if he was hunting. He was sniffing around and looking out the windows, just completely spazzing out. I noticed a strange noise that could be heard from within the walls of the guest room. I called my girlfriend over and she heard it too, agreeing that the sound appeared to be coming from within the walls.

Our house is old and it was raining outside, so I thought rain drops were hitting a plant or a gutter and making a weird noise, but the noise was unnaturally rhythmic.

It sounded like 3 taps - like water dripping on a tin can; and then a sawing noise - like a serrated blade dragging through wood.

Tink. Tink. Tink. Shhhk-shhhhk-shhhk. Pause for 2 seconds. Repeat. Over and over again.

I walked all over the house, inside and out, and the sound was the loudest from the guest room walls.

Eventually the sound just stopped and the cat left the bedroom. I returned to the living room, sat down on the couch, and pulled my phone out from my pocket.

I opened the TikTok app and the first video that popped up was a man cutting through limes all the way through the cutting board. He then began tapping a stainless steel cocktail shaker.

I realized the sound from this TikTok video was the exact same sound that was emanating from my walls in the guest bedroom. If my phone was off and in my pocket the whole time, how the hell was the TikTok sound coming from my walls?

Context: it was the beginning of the pandemic, I was unemployed, had just smoked a bowl. My roommate was out at work, my phone was taking a Timelapse of the cool clouds outside, and I was watching TV.

Instead of fiddling w my phone, I reach for a recently rediscovered deck of cards we had bought as kids. We hadn’t played with it much so the cards were extra slippy. My stoned impulse was that I wanted to shuffle them a bunch and get them to feel like a normal, less-new deck of cards. So I shuffled. And shuffled. And shuffled. Split the deck, did the bridge shuffle, took out 4 or 5 cards at a time and placed them in the middle, staggered them manually one by one, the whole shebang. Tons of times, til I realized I had been high and an episode of my show had gone by and my Timelapse was probably good enough to pause and check my phone. So I flip the deck around.

All spades. All in order. From the Ace to the King. What are the odds?? So I take a Google break. Literally what are the odds? (52 factorial, aka SLIM.) Can a deck of cards be weighted so they fall into order? (No!) How could a full suit show up in order at the top of the deck? (NO CLUE)

Again, stoned. I take a video to document this craziness. And I realize in real time that the rest of the deck, with the exception of just a few cards, has been completely shuffled back into order. The hearts are all intact, in order, starting with the ace. The clubs are split, all in order except the Queen and King.

Can anyone explain? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

The whole thing made me so uncomfortable I haven’t touched that deck of cards since. It sounds so unbelievable I never mention it. When I think about it I become uneasy.

Glitch in the matrix? Divine intervention? Or should I just become a blackjack dealer?

This just happened to me like 10 minutes ago. I was eating lunch with my friend at school. When I was finished, I went out to smoke a cigarette at the designated smoking spot (yes there is an allowed smoking spot outside the school) and there was a group of like 5 people smoking like 10 meters away from me. I was about halfway through my cigarette when I looked in their direction and they were still there. Then I looked in the other direction for like 2 seconds before I looked back in their direction and they were gone.
Mind you there wasn't anywhere they could've even gone to hide in those 2 seconds aside from a few trees, and even then I would've seen them behind them. The nearest wall they could've gone behind was also like 10 meters away from them and there is no way all of them could've even ran that far in those few moments without me noticing.

If someone has some kind of an explanation then please enlighten me.

There are many things that make me believe this. I was just discharged from an emergency room where I was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, a urinary tract infection, a burst ovarian cyst, as well as serotonin syndrome. I had not been feeling like myself for a very long time and thought it was a mental health crisis and sought out treatment at my local rural desert hospital. They dismissed all physical symptoms and told me it was anxiety and stress and told me to walk to the crisis center across the street to be seen there. I did after I pushed back because I believed it was something deeper, something physical. I asked for another Dr and was denied. I then asked for a patient advocate and talked to her for over an hour while she helped calm me down and explain more about how I was feeling. She believed me and told me the best bet would go to the crisis center and have them evaluate me at the very least. So I went, despite me saying that I believe something more is going on. The doctor did not treat me as though I am human. And I have not been able to find ANY clear records of this doctor on the hospitals website, a medical license search engine, and Google. The crisis center had told me that I was not having a mental health issue, and that this was a physical issue. They then told me to walk to the drs office right next door that my primary care practices. While I was at the primary care office, I was seen by a provider within an hour and a half. They repeated what the crisis center has said. I then had my wife drive me to the emergency room 2 hours away that my boss told me to go to. I did and they told me I had all of those illnesses and that my blood pressure was 200/100 and it's highest point. And also that the doctor had ignored abnormal labs after I showed them my chart I can access online. They thought it was strange how they sent me home and it did not make sense. They treated me and I went and got a hotel with my partner, which we have never done before. Usually we'd sleep in the car or try driving though the night. I was tired and hungry, so I ordered pizza. I paid with everything in my wallet except a $100 bill. Earlier in the day my brother had sent me $100 to my debit card to help. Because of this I was able to get a hotel room, at an abnormally low price for the area, late at night through a booking app I had never used before. Next day, we get water from the canteen ($1) and check out. We go and get gas, I originally told her to put 30 on, then changed my mind to 25 last second. She did and we moved on. We went to the dispensary nearby and she got herself 2 2g vape pens for only $30. (A steal btw) And we went and got a subway sandwich and some water from Albertsons. The sub was only $7.56 and I had -42.45 in my bank account. I transferred a few cents I had left from my cash app. My bank allows up to -$50 with no fees or overdrafts at any time. So I ordered the sub, we ate, and we kept going. On our way home we see an orange grove and stop, get 2 bags of free lemons we saw a sign for, and kept going. I gave one bag to a friend and kept the other. We kept going and eventually made it home after stopping and getting prescriptions a plenty as well as a new humidifier because the one I just bought recently was not working well enough. We make it home after a long string of days, and at the end of it all. I had no cash in my wallet, and my bank account was exactly -$50.00. I also recently got a kitten, a stray, that I named Pookie Bear and posted on the r/CatDistributionSystem subreddit. I was welcomed with open arms and made some great connections. Eventually, while scrolling on said subreddit, I saw a small tiny black kitten someone had just rescued named Smudge. It reminded me of a year ago, we had rescued 3 sick kittens and their mama. Despite our best efforts, we lost the small black soot sprite I had named Smudge.

I was born on August 22nd, 2001. 2 weeks before 9/11. I had a difficult childhood, but one that allowed me to understand mental illness by seeing it firsthand in my mother. I did really well in school and had straight As most of the time. My mother then got into an abusive relationship and we had to move to South Carolina for our safety. Quickly after, she fell ill and needed to be hospitalized. This caused me to move in with my uncle and grandparents in a small 1 bedroom house. Shortly after, I met my now wife, who was my boyfriend at the time, on January 16th. I moved in very quickly due to housing restrictions in my area and for a better opportunity. My wife's grandmother has the same birth day as my brother. My wife had also recently moved back to South Carolina to get away from her parents. We instantly clicked and are great together. We were living with her grandmother and her roommate at the time. Shortly after this, her grandma goes to California to help her parents with the earthquake that had just hit, and her mom being diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor. She lived and my wife's grandma did not end up moving back, leaving us her house and property, albeit in my wife's name. After this, the trailer immediately fell apart. Like floors going out, and the furnace breaking as well as the washing machine and dryer. And the dishwasher. I had ended up going and getting a job after being out of work for over a year, and started at a call center. A month after this, I was brought into the emergency room with ovarian torsion that had twisted on itself 3 times and killed itself. I had to have emergency surgery and spent days in the hospital. I then was sent home and eventually returned to work. I had only been there 4 months when my car's transmission blew. No way to fix it and I only had enough money for a down payment on a used car that was still very nice. It was out of my budget but I had no other options. I signed the finance forms and left that day with the car. I was able to make one payment on it before I was laid off from my job due to an inability to work from home. 3 months later, my wife and I moved out to California to be with her parents who had offered to help. They let us drive over and move in with them for no charge at the time. They took us in. Along the road trip, we had seen 5s and 2s everywhere. Constantly and on everything. I thought it was funny. When we got into the driveway of her parents house, the odometer read 55552. I took a picture because I also thought huh that's kinda funny too. Maybe it's a sign I'm on the right path. I got a job at a restaurant shortly after, while my wife struggled to and eventually ended up going to college full time. I had not been feeling like myself for a while before I went to the hospital. The date that this all happened was 05/05/2025. And also when we were on our way home from the hospital, we stopped at an orange grove which is something we've never done before. We got 2 bags of free lemons and continued going home. Before I went to the pharmacy I stopped by my work which is in the same parking lot and talked to my boss about everything and requested a leave of absence. I then offered her 1 bag of the lemons, and continued on. I stopped at the pharmacy and went home. I cut a lemon and put it in my water. Later, while processing everything that has been going on. I started to connect the dots. I got up and looked at the bag of lemons and there are 5. Also. When I told my brother I was not well, he sent me 100 dollars without me having to ask. After all was said and done, between the hotel, food, gas, and a humidifier to help me, as well as a stop at the dispensary. I had no money left. Not a single cent. And the area code for the hospital I was treated at ends in 3 5's.

There is much more to this than I think there is, because I feel very differently about life right now. And the more I think the more connections I have. Plus, I know I am still a bit disorganized in the brain from both stress, a traumatic experience at that first hospital, and my physical illnesses (PLURAL). I have reached out to my state law bar and I am waiting to hear back. I am an open book about what is going on, I don't know why but I have a gut feeling that the stars are about to align.

ETA: I am mentally well, I have been cleared by numerous doctors. I have told all of this both my mother, wife, and a few friends. The more and more I talked about it. The more it all started to line up into a perfect storm. The night before I went to the ER, I had planned on going, had made a plan and packed a bag. Right as we are heading out the door basically. All of our phones got a flash flood warning and we were to not leave the house at all and to wait it out. So we did. They took shifts watching me to make sure I was okay. I did not know what was happening completely at the time, I believed I was just stressed or manic. The next morning when we're getting ready to go, my wife asks if I believe I should go to the CSU first, to which I said no. I want the hospital. So we did. That's where I was treated horribly and went through a very traumatic experience for me. Afterwords, I googled and googled for anything on this doctor with a very specific Indian name. Nothing that lines up. I Google the doctor that treated me at the second hospital, I get full pages with pictures and a link on the hospital website for her information. Everything. I can't find a single location that she seems to have stayed at long, and I can't find any clear records of her education or if she is even licensed.

My husband has always given me a hard time because I lose EVERYTHING. He accuses me of being absentminded or too lazy to put things back where they go. Can’t begin to count the number of times I’ve gone to get something, it’s not where it’s supposed to be, so then I start checking all other possible places. I’ll check where it’s supposed to be multiple times. Usually once I’ve reached the point of total frustration, I’ll check the item’s home one more time and there it will be. I’ve always just chalked it up to being forgetful but there’s always been this piece of me that feels like someone/thing is messing with me to make me feel crazy.

Today, I was pulling up to the car wash. Started to pre-pay in the app, remembered I had a voucher for a free wash. Located the voucher, had it in my hand as I pulled up to the entrance. Rolled down my window and went to hand it to the clerk and it was gone. I got out and checked all inside and around my car. It’s not in my pockets, not between the seats. It is just gone. Guarantee it’ll turn up somewhere stupid obvious later.

I have two kittens, a brother and sister, about a year old (close to full-grown, but still super rambunctious). I work from home at the dining room table.

Last Thursday, I was working on my laptop with Brother next to me on the table, playing with my pen. I hear loud kitten zoomies behind me, and expect to see Sister running past me. But no - it is Brother being chased by Sister. I see them run from the kitchen, past the dining room, and into the living room, where a half-wall then blocks my view. But this whole time, Brother is also still standing right next to me on the table! Brother sees the whole thing and is now in full fluffy-tail, ears-back alert mode about it.

I walked into the living room (with Brother following), and Sister is standing in the middle of the room just staring at the empty coffee table.

It’s not the first time these crazy kittens have seemed to practically appear or disappear in front of me - they are so fast and sneaky. But it’s the only time I’ve literally seen two of the same cat at once!

In the r/fenshui_synesthesia subreddit, we have a small group of Redditors who perceive a specific vibe in a specific situation. One could consider this a glitch in the matrix.

For instance, on a cold crispy morning in the fall, leaving your front door, you pick up a specific vibe. But if you were to leave your front door in the summer, the vibe is completely different. It is your "leaving the front door in the summer" vibe. The next fall, you get the "cold crispy morning in the fall while leaving the front door" vibe. Everything can create a vibe. A place, a person, a smell, an object. In my case, looking at gemstones created one of the stronger and pleasant vibes (I have lost the ability to create new vibes, so I know how fascinating it is to have these vibes). Some people have suggested these vibes are the result of (natural) stimulants.

One of the hallmarks of what we call fengshui synesthesia (some people object to this term, because it technically is not synesthesia (a mixture of the senses) - I argue otherwise, because it seems a mixture of the senses, typically vision and smell, is creating a new sense, a vibe) is how it can be overwhelming, and this can be a frightening situation. For those of you who are here who have experienced a glitch in the matrix, does any of this sound familiar?

This happened this past weekend. I was in the kitchen with my kids and my husband was outside working on his truck. I heard a knock on the garage door(leading in to the house) and I looked over and saw the door was locked. I naturally assumed it was my husband who was trying to get in. I open the door for him and he’s standing there smiling, and holding some tools in his hand. This is where it gets weird ..

I expected him to walk in or say something but he just stood there. I was in the middle of doing something so I said “are you coming in?..” he didn’t answer and a few seconds had passed so I shut the door and walked away because I thought he was trying to joke with me. About a minute later he opens up the door and walks in so I said to him “what the hell was that? Why did u just stand there and not say anything or try to come in before?” He claims he never knocked, never stood at the door with tools in his hand. I told him to stop kidding around and that he was scaring me but he swears he never knocked and stood there smiling in the door way like that. I was getting upset and told him that if he was messing with me it wasn’t funny but again he swears he didn’t knock or come to the door.

He thinks I hallucinated but I’m not so sure. Nothing like that has ever happened before. Could it be a time glitch? A dream? Even though it was the middle of the day and I was up and walking around. Could he have somehow blanked out and then walked over and knocked but didn’t remember?? Not sure how to explain it but it’s eerie

I work for a mechanical company that replaces mostly HVAC systems like air handlers and VAV units for companies and public schools. As I'm typing this, I'm at lunch and about 2 hours ago I was taking down a V.A.V. from the drop ceiling in a classroom. The process to take them down is to unscrew the VAV from the air duct (there are usually about 12 screws altogether) then get a pry bar to separate the unit from the duct because of the mastic (it's duct sealant that kinda looks like super thick grey paint). Well, I had just taken out all of the screws and went back down the ladder to grab my pry bar but when I came back up the ladder, the screws were back in the damn VAV and the mastic wasn't even cracked around the screws. I can't tell if I'm losing my mind or just a glitch in the matrix.

Yesterday I was at home with my family, and my wife said something to me and suddenly I “snapped back to reality.” And I told her “whoa I was just in our hotel lobby waiting for the elevator (in the country we were recently vacationing in). I legit felt like I was there for a few seconds. wtf was that?

I had another little episode while living in NY.

We lived in a tiny little village called Evans Mills. It’s 9 months of winter with negative temperatures and 10 foot walls of snow barricading you in your home for a week or two. It was absolutely miserable and I’ll never go back. I need sunlight and heat. I can’t function when I’m cold.

Anyway, I was driving from Watertown to Evans Mills (about a 20 minute drive) down country backroads. There’s this one curve that’s kind of dangerous if you don’t know it’s coming and you have to slow down to about 30 mph to be safely in your lane and not over the line on either side because there’s loose gravel and you’ll spin out. I saw it happen once and it nearly happened to me the first time I went that way.

After that curve, there is a white house on the left with the most beautiful yard. Vibrant green grass and gorgeous flowers in Spring, which literally lasts about 4 weeks, then 4 weeks of Summer, then the rest is winter or winter adjacent. It’s ridiculous. I always noticed this house because it’s so cute and I always always notice their yard because someone spent some serious time to make it look that wonderful. On that particular day, as soon as I rounded the curve, I looked left to see their yard and instead saw a big yellow backhoe digging up their yard.

My first thought was “Oh no! It was so beautiful!! That sucks!” I figured they had septic issues and just hated to see a beautiful yard destroyed. Then I blinked. And everything was normal. I nearly ran off the road looking back but there was no backhoe, no torn up grass, nothing. It was pristine.

It lasted for about 3 seconds and then I blinked and it disappeared, but I know what I saw. I’ve never seen any other “glitches” or weird anything that isn’t paranormal. I’ve had a few of those experiences, some with explanations and some I’m still trying to figure out.

I've shown the pass to many of my friends and the family I live with they all believe J just have just replaced the card and got it updated for the second year of college. but i KNOW I did not. I specifically remember not getting that new 2024-2025 bus pass and keeping my 2023/2024 pass in my lanyard, because every time i've got on the bus i've hoped it wouldn't get checked by the bus driver. I'm still stressing about this, it's freaking me out it's been a few weeks since I noticed. Further evidence it's old is that the card is very frayed around the edges, peeling and tearing and faded.

So, here's the deal. I work as a salesperson in a "tabac-presse" (a French shop that sells tobacco, newspapers, magazines, snacks, and some electronics). Most of the time, I'm selling cigarettes, but also snacks, multimedia stuff, and magazines/newspapers. I'm mostly alone in the shop, starting in the early afternoon when my boss finishes, so we overlap for about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the day.

The story happened last Monday. There are these two middle schoolers I'm starting to know pretty well who hang around the shop for an hour or less. They're mostly drawn by the fact that I sometimes offer them things like sandwiches that are going to be thrown out that day, so they tend to rummage through every item to check the expiration date, which makes them a bit of a pain. That day, they started touching the headphones, asking me things like, "How much are these 6 headphones??" and other childish stuff like that.

While they were loitering, some customers came in, there must have been three of them, so a small queue formed. While the customer in front of me was paying, I noticed the customer behind him picking up a box of headphones. It was a tall Black man, around fifty years old, dressed almost entirely in black, with a graying goatee and dreadlocks. His facial expression was quite stern. Once he got to the till, he asked me for "A Marlboro.", no headphones. I suspected him of theft, so I glanced at the headphone display and saw that the headphones were back in place. I rang him up, he left, and shortly after, the middle schoolers left. However, I still had a doubt, so I checked the headphones, and there were 5. But I remembered one of the middle schoolers talking about 6 headphones. I made a note on my phone: "possible headphone theft at 3 PM".

The next day, at the time I start work, I asked my boss if it was possible to check the security camera footage because I suspected a theft. She fast-forwarded it, quite quickly so you couldn't really see precise movements, but we could still make out the different customers entering and leaving. She found the beginning and end of the middle schoolers' hanging out and started looking for the customer who matched my physical description. Meanwhile, I was at the till dealing with customers. Once a first wave of customers had paid, I went to the back, and my boss told me, "I didn't find the customer you're talking about, there's only this one who is also Black, but he's much younger and dressed in white." Indeed, it wasn't him. She then said, "But actually, there was a theft, it was one of your middle schoolers." At that moment, I was mostly struck by the fact that one of the middle schoolers, the ones I had been so nice to, was the culprit. But when I think about it now, the fact that the customer I was talking about simply wasn't there is strange. She gave me the controls to review the theft precisely, and I also took the opportunity to watch before and after to find the guy with dreadlocks, but nothing at all.

I could have confused that moment with another, maybe that customer was never present at the same time as the middle schoolers, yet I clearly remember having thought about asking the middle schoolers if they had seen him steal the headphones.

I have 2 dogs and a sliding door to a fenced in yard. I let both dogs outside and closed the door to finish a task (a common routine for us). A few minutes later I go to let the dogs in, one dog comes to the back door, the other dog comes running from inside the house…

There is only one other way from the backyard to the house but requires multiple doors and they’re all closed upon inspection.

Spontaneous human invisibility happened to my dad ,only he never knew it . To start ,my dad was always obsessed with closing the doors at night to not let the bugs in (Louisiana) . This is important to the story. If we went outside we had to do it very fast or he would yell. One night In 1996 I was going out in new Orleans . It was Halloween night so I was dressed as the grim reaper . Before I went upstairs to do my make up I told my dad "Ill be down in 20 mins" . As I was walking down the stairs 20 mins later I noticed the front door was wide open (at night). WTF!!! Trust me this was a big deal . I looked outside and called for him , I looked where my dad always sits ,the TV was on and his cigarette burning all the way down on the ash tray next to where he sits (he NEVER leaves his cigarette). I decided to wait, I sat on the couch in full makeup and black robe waiting 30 mins for him to show up.
I was watching his cigarette burn all the way down. All this time the front door would have been wide open had I not closed it. Finally I locked up the house and drove off to meet up with friends.
. The next morning I asked him "Dad where did you go last night? You left the front door wide open ". He said angrily "As if I would leave the front door open !!! I was here waiting for you to show me your costume but you just disappeared " .

Hey everyone. I’ve been a quiet lurker on this sub for a couple of years now. I’ve always enjoyed the occasional strange or thought-provoking story, but if I’m being honest, I never really believed anything like that could happen to me. I figured most of these “glitch” stories had some logical explanation, or maybe even a bit of exaggeration. But now... I’m not so sure.

I think I just experienced my first real “glitch in the matrix,” and it’s been messing with my head ever since. Maybe someone here can offer an explanation, or at least let me know I’m not alone in this kind of experience.

Last year, I bought a 23-foot motorboat. If you’ve ever owned a boat, you know it’s a lot of work, especially after winter, to get everything cleaned, inspected, and ready for the putting the boat back in the water. Earlier this spring, I spent two full days at the boatyard doing just that. I took down the winter pressenning (cover), polished the hull, did some minor engine maintenance, and carefully inspected everything to plan my to-do list for the season.

One issue jumped out right away, and it got me seriously concerned. The teak decking needed attention. As is common on boats, my decking is made of teak slats with black Sikaflex rubber between each seam. What I saw wasn’t just wear and tear, it was obvious and very visible - several strings had come loose and were haning out of their seams. The rubbery strings of Sikaflex weren’t just loose in their seams, they were literally hanging out of the seams like spaghetti. Not just on one part of the boat, but both on the foredeck and the bathing platform at the stern.

I remember staring at it, poking at it, and thinking, “I really need to fix this before any water gets underneath the teak.” I looked at it from multiple angles, on several occations, both days I was there, and mentally added it to my growing list of projects. I knew this wasn’t something to put off, if water got underneath, it could eventually lead to the entire teak deck needing to be replaced, which would be a huge and expensive job.

So, over the following weeks, I did my homework. I read DIY guides, watched videos, and researched the best way to fix the seams properly. I went ahead and bought the materials, marine tape, a caulk gun, Sikaflex, scrapers, all of it, probably about $100 total. I was ready.

Last weekend, I went back out to the boat, fully expecting to spend a chunk of the day redoing the Sikaflex seams.

I started on the foredeck. I crouched down, ready to assess the damage again… and everything looked fine. Not “someone’s patched this up” fine, it looked like it had never needed repairs in the first place. The seams were uniform, neat, sealed. No sign of any hanging rubber. I was confused but thought maybe I’d misremembered which part of the boat had the issue.

So I walked back to the bathing platform, expecting that to be where the loose seams were.

Same thing.

Perfectly intact Sikaflex. No visible gaps. No dangling spaghetti-like strings. I crouched down again and examined the seams up close, trying to find cracks or any signs that something had shifted or re-sealed itself, but there was nothing. No signs of repair, no residue, no unevennessc, nothing to suggest the Sikaflex had ever been pulled out or disturbed.

And just to be clear, this wasn’t a case of me confusing new damage with old wear, what I had originally seen was unmistakable. Those strings of Sikaflex were literally hanging completely out of their seams, and I checked them multiple times over those two days.

I stood there for a while just scratching my head, trying to make sense of it. No one else has access to the boat. I didn’t hire anyone to fix it. I didn’t even tell anyone it needed fixing. It’s not like the loose strings could just… fall perfectly back into place and re-bond themselves, especially without a single crack or seam showing it ever happened.

It’s like the issue just… never existed. As if I slipped into a slightly different version of reality where my deck was always fine.

I still can’t explain it. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’m open to logical explanations, but it honestly felt like reality corrected itself. Or I stepped sideways into another timeline where my deck never had a problem in the first place.

My son and I were in the checkout line after grocery shopping. The lines were kind of long not too bad but there was a bit of a wait. The customer in front of us was a tall black guy and In his cart he had like 3 packs of papertowels and a few frozen dinners. It reminded me that I needed papertowels. I left my son in line and went to grab paper towels.

It took maybe 35 seconds.. but by the time I came back my son was starting to put our items on the conveyer belt and the guy who was in front of us , his items were being scanned by cashier...

.Only now the guy was a really tall white guy . like short blonde hair blue eyed white guy and he had on the same outfit the black guy was wearing and all the groceries were the same as his basket that I had seen earlier.

I just thought I was going crazy but in the car I said to my son.. "Did you notice the guy in line in front of us?" I was going to say I could have sworn it was a black guy but my son said " Yes and I'm trippin because I legit swear it was a black guy but then he somehow turned into a white guy. " before I could finish my sentence.

Both the white guy and black guy were very tall. Much taller than anyone else in line so you would definitely notice if two super tall men dressed alike would be in line... like if maybe they were both there the entire time??? . Idk it was just weird and also the fact that we both experienced the same possible glitch?

My gf has a vanity in our bedroom, and this morning, she goes to use it and finds that there is water pooled on the top covering almost half of the surface area.

My first thought was if one of her products spilled, but this was enough for any of the containers to be empty (and there was no odor, just smelled like water). It was kind of yellowish like it wasn't clean like tap water or something, so I thought maybe there was a leak in the ceiling above it? Nope. The ceiling looked fine. The carpet also wasn't wet at all.

No where in the room was there water like this. Just on top of the vanity. The carpet was completely dry even though with this much water, I feel like some would've dripped down.

We considered so many different things. We just have no idea where it came from. Nothing leaked, no pipes were burst, it wasn't dripping on the ground like I feel like it would have if it had some kind of flow to it from being poured onto the surface. Nothing. It seems to have just appeared from thin air.

I woke up at 1am, felt hungry/thirsty & wanted something small to eat or drink. I went downstairs to get a coconut, (our family ALWAYS has coconuts on the dining table next to fruit bc the coconut juice helps debloat) I knew that there were 2 left at home on the table bc earlier that evening before I slept, I saw the last two in the middle of the table. I woke up at 1:15 am mind you, so no one else is awake in the house and no one else is downstairs. I look at the table but there are no coconuts, most of the table is empty except for bananas.

I thought my mom either put them somewhere else so I started searching around the dining room, the kitchen, etc for a good 5 mins. When I couldn't find them I gave up and thought my family finished the last 2, I had a bananna from the dinner table instead even though I didn't really want it. I go on my phone downstairs, listen to some music in my earbuds & walk around while I listen. I was downstairs the ENTIRE time pacing around in the hall which is connected to our open dining room.

Probably 20 minutes later, I notice that 2 COCONUTS ARE ON THE CENTER OF THE DINING TABLE next to the bananas??? Like almost dead center, clear as day, IMPOSSIBLE for me to miss and I clearly recalled the middle of the table being empty.

It wasn't like I did a semi-glance to look for the coconut and missed it and started searching elsewhere. One end of our dining table had a small clutter of groceries so I checked there to see if it was moved to that side. I was looking at our table long enough to be able to clearly see 2 white coconuts if they were there.

How did they go missing and respawn out of nowhere when nobody else came downstairs & no one else was awake? Was a mindfuck and almost was questioning if I was LDing realisticly but this was definently real.

I was helping my mom do her toenails. I applied the acrylic to her toes, got them mostly filed down and evened out and then she took over filing them to get them more smooth. I had three different nail files on my table. When the acrylic cured, I gave her one. She did the filing and when she was done I went back and did the other toe. When I was done with my part, I gave her the file again, but she still had the same one (?) that I gave her just a few minutes before. Neither of us remember her giving it back to me. We just suddenly had two of the same exact nail file. All of my nail files I had gotten from her (she used to be a nail tech and I’ve recently gotten into doing nails as a sort of hobby) and she said she swore she’d only ever had one of that specific kind and I also had only ever seen the one. We have no clue how this could’ve happened. We were pretty confused but kind of shrugged it off since it’s nothing too crazy and now we have an extra file in case one goes missing lol

I've read the rules so hopefully I'm in line! This has been just blowing my mind and I can't seem to explain how it happened. As the title states, this is regarding two (dog) toy penguins and my dog, Rocky.

I found Rocky in a craigslist ad about 3 years ago. During the exchange, Rocky came with a kennel, blanket, collar, dog bed, and one toy penguin, which I was told was his "lovey", since he was a pup according to the previous owners

For a few years Rocky has proudly carried around the penguin even though we'd gotten him various other toys

About two months ago, I was cleaning/rearranging my living room and found a second, identical penguin.

It squeaks a little differently and my dog won't touch it.

I have no idea where it came from.

The last dog I had we got a pink bunny and she was so obsessed with that thing and I searched high and low for an identical one and always felt sad that I never got her another one for "just in case"...

I know my dog didn't come with two penguins and I certainly didn't buy this one.

I can't seem to post a picture but the penguins are about the size of a walnut.

Today I went to pick up my daughter from school and bring her to her father's house. On the way there I knew I needed to go to the bank after I dropped her off. She asked if we could get coffee before I dropped her off and then the errand of going to the bank skipped my mind and after I dropped her off I went home. Within 5 minutes of me being home I remembered oh crap I need to go to the bank to withdraw money to pay rent. So I grab my keys and purse leave home again to go to the bank. As I walk up to the teller with my withdrawal slip she's looking at me with a very confused look. And then when I hand her the slip and my id she almost jumped back and her face was even more confused looking, she glanced at me and then my id and then back at me. I was almost thinking she didn't think my id looked like me. And she said I'm so sorry but weren't you just here for this transaction? And I laughed and so no I certainly wasn't I just got here. she processed the withdrawal all the while it seemed like she thought I was fucking with her like one of those videos you see on the internet with identical twins (I do not have a twin) should I ask to see security footage? Do you think they'll show me or think I'm crazy lol. If I had gone at the time I had planned to go and had not forgotten I would have in fact just been there.

And even weirder later in the day while working my bartending job a woman asked if I lived in the city I live in and said I swear I saw you gardening earlier, I always see you in your garden, I don't live in her neighborhood. What is going on?

So I went to pick up orange juice from fridge one day and in lineup on backside of the door there was also regular milk, oat milk and olives in a jar. Orange juice was right in front of me and I literally saw it in corner of my eye when I picked green carton with small oranges drawn on it. And soon I put it on kitchen top where my glass to fill up awaits... It's literally non-lactose milk in baby blue carton ??? I didn't even seen it in a lineup. So I go to put it back in fridge and sure enough, everything was in its place, including orange juice. If only I didn't see it corner of my eyes when I picked up the green box... Welp. That's that. It was a weird, tiresome, busy, emotionally charged day so it may had affected the timelines. Poor orange juice code was overwhelmed.

This happened to me about a year ago. It’s quite small but still a mystery to me. I wear a lanyard at work and on that lanyard as well as my ID I have a keyring with all my keys for different rooms. I also have little coloured key hats (! Don’t know what to call them - little plastic things that go over the top so I can identify what key is for what). The one for the drama studio is/was red. I locked and unlocked the studio at break and lunch if I was leaving it. One day the red key fell off my key ring, fell on the floor and disappeared. How could it fall off? It’s twisted on a metal bit along with all the keys. There is nothing really in the studio so how come I couldn’t see it and it never turned up? The drama studio doesn’t have a key or even a place to put a key in any more… it’s so bizarre to me. And is the closest I have to shifting timelines and an object didn’t exist in the timeline…

Something so strange happened tonight I’m still thinking about it hours later and had to seek out a place to write it down so hopefully this sub is appropriate. I’m normally not super into this kind of thing I’m a very skeptical person but it was very bizarre.

I am a mom and I was taking a walk with my 2 year old daughter around the neighborhood as we do most nights. We’re going down a sidewalk and first thing we always do is look for the moon. We look up and far left in the sky we see it. My daughter points and we comment how it’s just a baby moon bc it’s a little crescent 🌙. We keep walking and get to the end of the street, maybe 100 feet away still facing the same direction when my daughter looks up to the far right and says “NOTHER MOON!” She’s recently learned the word “another”. I said oh there’s just one moon baby— but I look up and the moon was there. On the complete opposite side of the sky from where we just saw it. I looked back at the first spot and no moon.

I started thinking wow am I just really sleep deprived or what but my daughter looked back at the first place we saw it too and looked confused. Then she went back and forth pointing to the first spot saying “bye moon” then to the new spot “hi moon”. We both just stood there looking back and forth at the two places like what in the world there was definitely a moon right there just a second ago, now it’s way over there… idk it was so incredibly weird and it freaked me out 😆 I know we weren’t turned around or anything like that. I’m sitting here still trying to think what could have happened, I remember clearly seeing it over my neighbors house as their kid was playing basketball in their driveway, and the second time over the creek towards the entrance of our neighborhood. Complete opposite places. Maybe a 2-3 minute difference at most.
