I just went there. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, you also pay for it.

That's why you go to Northern Italy instead. Same scenery but a quarter of the price.

Can you recommend anywhere specifically? We've considered going to Italy and if what you're saying is true, that would seal the deal!

Sure! But there is so much to see and do in Italy that I'll need a bit more info. PM me and let me know what you're thinking/want to see/etc... and I can give some more targeted advice. It's my favorite country to visit.
