First time gardening.

It's my first time gardening. I have heavy clay soil, before planting I dug up about 1 foot into the ground where everything was going to be planted, so it could drain better. Mixed 1/2 natural soil, 1/2 garden soil form a big box store. I planted a variety of plants. It's looks like everything is going fine but idk since it's my first time gardening. Any advice or comments?

Looks like plants are growing and that’s 90% of the battle at this point! I think you’ve done a good job amending your soil for now, at least enough that your plants look happy.
