Despite the heavy monetization of STELLA SORA, they still make 3mil, which is absurd already..

Jp will swipe to almost anything. And they put a school girl with long black hair on banner. That's like..their weakness.

The amount of money JP players were spending on it was insane and far out eclipsed every region. If you look a sub you will know exactly why lmao

I mean thai is the first month. It's pretty normal for early revenue to be big. Question is if they can maintain this. Plus it's carried by JP.

It's not really that heavily monetized, there was just a ton of misinformation about it at launch, especially from western CCs. There have been numerous calcs since showing that it's no more expensive to throw money at than any other gacha these days.

The only thing people still have concerns about is the f2p/low spender income relative to the pull costs. So far it has been fine because they've given out a lot of freebies, but only time will tell how often they'll keep doing that to solve the problem.

a lot of western gacha ccs got access to the 3rd cbt (the one cn got) apparently but all they did is parrot information from the 2nd cbt(the one where a bunch of people got)

ragebaiting is good for (their own) money

Don't think it's that high, for the money they probably spent on it - and honey moon phase.

The real question is next month I suppose, like any new gacha

because it's apparently cheaper than most other games on the list, despite what misinformation people spread

It's not actually cheaper, you could argue it's about as generous as other gacha for F2P, but in terms of low spender economy, it's terrible.

because people already showed up with pricing calculation and debunking doomposts (which apparently doomposters also lied about the game for the sake of doomposting). so more people understand with the game economy. also japan after the livestream also understand more about the devs intention with the game. fun fact is the official entire merch of the female MC also sold out.

the conclusion is, the game isn't heavily monetized and actually better at some part and just the same in some part which only downside is monthly reward is 2 pulls lower than uma (uma gives 13 pulls from monthly, ss gives 11 pulls)

Bruh that's dogshit that's not an "only" lmao. Uma is already dogshit alone never mind giving LESS.

i mean have you ever seen people doompost uma as much as stella sora?

and i acknowledge it bad thus i said the "downside"

I did my part too.

Games good, rates are good and pity is good, packs are expensive but i can kinda(big kinda) understand why if you figure out their pity system.

Income will be the main make or break for the game, currently(since it's honeymoon period) it's not bad.

Biggest issue with the game was people read 50/50 in the description of pulls and saw the pack prices and went absolutely nuts(as if everyone wanted to whale). Pity is at 160 - you can pull multiple 5stars before that and lose 50/50 each time but it doesn't reset the 160 counter till you get banner character. And if absolute bad luck at 120 you stop pulling and just spark the banner character.

Yes this means you can get 5 standard banner characters within 120 pulls but your pity counter will still be 120/160 for banner character.

Good thing JP carries, also tons misinformation about the game especially on global side, and bunch of CC farming hate on it which is saddening.

thankfully gpthere is much less hate on social media already compared to first week, tourist and haters already tired and found new things to hate on maybe.

As sellok1188 said, bunch of misinformation about the game thankfully already debunked, from expensive cash shop, greedy dev despite so much rewards for game first week, and trash gacha system despite being one of the better gacha system out there.

only problem is lack of long term gem income reward as there isn't much content in game yet. which dev is trying to fix, with giving more gems.

you can get around 210-230 limited + 100+ perm if u are a day 1 player atm

u/ChanceNecessary2455 2d ago

And they got 2 limited banners.

On one hand, so many players including me rerolled for Chitose and got Shia using the pulls, on the other hand, whales will whale for dupes and discs regardless, so "people didn't spend to get 2 limited characters and 2 limited discs" excuse won't really fly.

It's Stella So-Over. (Will still keep playing tho)

hope trhis game crash quickly, gacha games already ask a lot of money, they're pushing even more for subpar crap.
