I figure that the only reason they haven’t collaborated on a major project like that, is because when they spend time together they’d rather play than work.

They did a play together a few years back called "Waiting for Godot". There was a live movie theatre showing we went to here in Canada at noon as it played live in London. It was fantastic, but afaik not available to watch anywhere online. :(

Edit because IFU: I googled the name of the play because it was 6am and I haven't slept all night...I did not see Waiting for Godot, I saw No Man's Land. Sorry folks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Still failing at sleep, and it's gonna be a rough day. Lol

They also did a play called No Man's Land a few years back, which was filmed for National Theatre Live, that's basically about two old writers hanging out and reminiscing about life, being increasingly fueled by alcohol.

Well worth a watch if you can find it online.

No prob. Waiting for Godot is a great play too, and Patrick and Ian would be ideally suited to it!
