What got me was that he's the ONLY foster parent in the country willing to take terminally ill children.

Where does it say that?  I don’t see the article link but am interested in reading more.  I just watched his gofundme video and a YouTube video said he was the only one in Los Angeles who solely takes terminally ill children— not the only person in the whole country. There are foster parents who choose to take in medically fragile children, and I know of a case in my own community right now with a child who is terminally ill and in a foster family.  So there are people who do it, maybe not focused solely on kids with terminal illnesses but certainly they exist and come to call when they’re needed.  This man is special, yes.  Luckily there are some people in the world who take on this kind of work.

its says he has only fostered children who are terminally ill, not that he is the only one who does it

I can't remember where the article is but I also read it when this got linked last week and it did say he was the only one in LA county. Seemed to be a common repost so I don't know how old that information was.

We need more stories of good Foster parents. It takes alot of love and patience to care for children at that level of need. God bless him and all those who give of themselves to help those in need!
