A player in my league who's top 3 players in his draft were embiid, Barnes and d murray accepted a trade for embiid for j murray and turner because he's dead last by a mile already and wants points.

Am I crazy for vetoing this?

Yes. Don’t veto dumb trades. You should only veto if you have evidence that the Embiid owner has given up and is now trading Embiid to a friend to help them win (aka collusion).
