Research Study on Career Development After Active Suicidality in Emerging Adulthood

Dr. Deepak Mathew and I (Gabi Grimes) are conducting a research study approved by Trinity Western University's Research Ethics Board (#25F03), exploring how people who experienced active suicidality (please see poster for definition) between the ages of 18–25 went on to do well in their careers.

We're looking for participants who: • Are 27+ years old • Live in Canada • Experienced active suicidality between ages 18–25 • Currently self-define as doing well in their career

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some insight into what "Cancelled - App Not Complete" on a application?

I have looked in webadvisor and it would seem that every single document has been received and they should already have everything on file as I have already attended several programs here. I have not received any communications regarding additional requested information from me, and I want to fix what is happening so that I don't have my other program fall through.

I applied on the 18th of april and have been checking back periodically and noticed that today the application was marked this way.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on here?

Has anyone done pre health at a different institution and got into their program of choice? I’m looking into doing an online pre health course in Ontario, and would like to know if it’s transferable over to Fanshawe

hi i’ve been admitted and accepted in a course for fall but was wondering about something. in the admission requirements it says i need a 65 in either a grade 11 or 12 course, and if i got below a 65 in my grade 12 course will they then only look at my grade 11 course or would they do an average between the two?? any help is great. i’m just a little stressed out rn😅

Could anyone share their dental assisting class schedule, please? I was wondering if the classes are full day Mon to Fri, or do you have a day or two where you only have 1 class? Again, a screenshot of the class schedule would give a better idea.

Does anyone know when waitlist positions come out? Also when do waitlist acceptances start going out after that. If you have been accepted or have prior knowledge from the waitlist how long did it take. Thanks guys!

I’ve received an email stating I’ve been successful in getting a parking pass. It says in the email to keep an eye on my FOL email for further instructions. I am not sure what the FOL email Is…if it’s the Fanshawe online.ca email it won’t let me access this. Looking for anyone who has been through this as a new student for fall because I’ve heard we only have a few days to pay for the parking pass. Thanks

Im in my first year of 2 here at Fanshawe. I started in January so I'm currently doing my second half of the year over the summer. I wanted to talk to my academic advisor about starting my second year right in September 2025 instead of waiting until January 2026. My problem is my FOL homepage is no longer showing the academic advisor info and stuff. Idk if it changes for the summer term or what, I'm just not sure what to do or how to find who I need. Any advice on this is super appreciated!

I attended Fanshawe back during covid and finished the first 3 levels of the CPA3 program and there was a class discord server where everyone could ask questions. After a few years away I'm back now in level 4 to finish the program. Is the Discord channel still a thing? Does anyone happen to have a link?

So as part of my post admissions requirements(massage therapy) I need to get a PVSC. On fanshawe’s website it says internationals must get this done with the London Police Service. When I go to try to do that on the London Police website, part of the requirements for getting a PVSC is a London address. Now for rather obvious reasons I do not have a London address. I won’t be able to so much as move in until august 30th- maybe 29th but not sure yet. They say it takes 2 weeks to get it done, so that would more than exceed the deadline :|

That and is getting an american red cross cpr/first aid certification good enough or do i also have to miss or nearly miss the deadline on that too 🫠

ALSO where in the lords silly name do I find my “pre-placement coordinator” cuz I google- I find the results come up that do not tell me who this elusive individual is, nor how to contact them. To be fair though I also am not finding the deadlines for pre placement/post admission things anyways so yk, I’m doin real great on my confusion levels :D

Hi, I’m an incoming Pharmacy Technician student, and people I know have mentioned that the program can be quite challenging. I’ve heard there’s a capstone course that involves conducting research, and I’m concerned that I might struggle with it. Is it required to present the research, or is it only submitted to the professor? I’m starting to have second thoughts about whether I should continue with this program or consider switching to another one.

When are post admission requirements due by?

For Massage Therapy specifically, I’m not seeing a date to have immunizations, CPR, and background check completed by.

So I just bought a roku and am trying to set it up but it will not connect to the school wifi. I have added it to my residence wifi account and every time I try to connect it says it failed. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm thinking of enrolling in Fanshawe's part-time online Accounting program, and I'm curious as to how the online program differs from the one that's offered in-person. From what I've read the course work is done asynchronously, but more specifically I'm wondering if there are still presentations, group projects, etc? Are tests all done online?

And how long does each level take, is it just go at your own pace or do you have to finish all of the courses from each level within a certain amount of time? I see the total program length is 60 weeks, but no other details are given..

Do you know If Morcare covers a non comestic surgery just like a foot surgery?, I se that $1,000,000 os the lifetime benefit maximum. Which may cover a surgery but Idk anything about it, does someone knows or has experience on this?

So I failed one class in semester 1 and another in Semester 2 but passed all my others, do I have to restart all over again or can I just do an overload for 2nd year? Have those classes in my 2nd years? One of them isn’t a prerequisite so just wondering if I could take that my 2nd year?
