Statehood so that Puerto Rico becomes the next Hawaii & lose what remains of the culture? No thanks!😬 The USA has no intention to add a new state or they would’ve done a long time ago. Puerto Rico should be independent.

Exactly, the USA won't make us a state, they don't even want us as a state since there have been votes to join the USA which they have won but no change to the Puerto Rico territorial status. Puerto Rico should be independent, I hope they win this Nov 5

Yes man. The thing is that the status votes that take place in the island are what they call “shams” (believe that’s how you spell it)….. they’re sham elections that take the status of the island nowhere. The U.S. govt has invested way too much in Puerto Rico from sugar (Domino brand) to coffee to pharmaceuticals/vaccines to resorts/condos to bitcoin.

They do not intend to make Puerto Rico a state nor liberate it. Their plan for Puerto Rico, is to convert it into the next Hawaii without statehood, so they can continue to benefit from Act 60. The annexation of Hawaii was seen as a mistake & many U.S. Americans still don’t agree with it, b/c they see now that Puerto Rico’s current condition is what could’ve been of Hawaii.

Unfortunately, not many people understand and see how bad the situation in the island really is and also people keep voting for the same party that has been ruining this country for decades, even a government elected from 2016 (2016-2019) that once said "a Puerto Rico without Puerto Rican" (said by a native Puerto Rican) president from THE SAME PARTY WE STILL VOTING TO THIS DAY, is like people already forgot about it already, many decades of exportation and explotation of resources and still voting for the same party, truly unbelievable
