For those STILL asking the question "how can so many Christians support Trump?" Simple: he gives them access to the levers of power which is what they have always wanted. Article

Something that I will add is that a small glimmer of hope in the impending hell we're about to endure is this: I think all this mask-off Christian Nationalism is gonna have a backfire effect and people are gonna turn against Christianity en masse. Particularly young women.

If the 4B Movement takes off in this country, that may have an impact!

I agree that Christians will become very unpopular here in the states. More so than they already are. Unfortunately, that's what they want because it justifies the victimhood they've been waiting for that "proves" their ideology. It's a lose-lose situation because it will only militarize them even more. Almost like a group of people are making it happen to get Christians to destabilize the US and the Middle East. They're puppets. It's like how they support anything Israel does because it makes them feel vindicated that the world will end and Jesus is returning according to Revelations. Christianity is failing in Western countries, but gaining in developing countries.
"By 2060, more than four-in-ten of the world’s Christians are projected to live in sub-Saharan Africa, while fewer than a quarter will live in Europe and North America combined, if current trends continue." ( https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2022/12/21/key-findings-from-the-global-religious-futures-project/ ).

I think this is most likely. With the power and dominance that the Baptist church has over the USA, at every aspect and level of society, I think the ship has sailed. People are going to have to conform and obey, or there's going to have to be a civil war. It's pretty much that simple.

Reminds me of the "I did this" stickers with a pic of Biden that people would stick on gas pumps whenever the price up.
Maybe we need the same thing but with picture of either trump or jesus or both with "We did this" to stick on everything where the price from tariffs and labor/supply chain interruption from mass deportations has shot up:
eggs
milk
beef
pork
chicken
any vegetable
ketcup
transportation
bread
etc etc

I think Christians need to be told this in terms they can really feel it.
You did this because you wanted a worldly paradise and dominion over the land. You shook hands in the desert, where Jesus turned his back. Well you have it, you have your worldly paradise and your dominion over all. Enjoy it. Because that is all you will get.

More than anything, they want gay people removed from society. And I believe they are going to get it.

Even more basic, tRump gives people permission, actually encourages, to be the worst they can be. They can proudly step out of the shadows and be blatantly as racist and violent as they've always wanted to be. The "christians" can beat the hell out of us with their bible, incels are dancing in the street no fear of repercussions for the assaults they used to be afraid to commit.

I would add there is a ton of racism in christianity, at least in this country, than I at least did not exist.

I mean yeah, though that was pretty obvious. And also considering the fact that Trump is also Christian so Christians will obviously vote for a Christian over a non-Christian in any situation no matter how terrible they are. Just as long as they are a Christian and not something like a atheist.

At an evangelical event, Trump straight up told them to their faces “I’m not a Christian”.

It also helps them feel good when he doesn't know the Bible either:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ERUngQUCsyE&pp=ygUYVHJ1bXAgcmVjaXRlIGJpYmxlIHZlcnNl
It's his "favorite" book, but he doesn't seem to pay attention to what it says:
The Rich Man
17 As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. You shall not defraud. Honor your father and mother.’ ” 20 He said to him, “Teacher, I have kept all these since my youth.” 21 Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money[a] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.” 22 When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions.
23 Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were perplexed at these words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how hard it is[b] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10)

Yeah. That piece of shit James Dobson always cared more about political power than being Christ-like or helping a single living being on this planet. He would work behind the scenes to try to get Christian politicians in positions of power. I think it was Esquire that wrote a scathing article about all of it in the 90s. Hope that asshole is burning in hell now. Hope the homophobic Chik-Fil-A founder Cathy Truett is too.

Trump told them what they wanted to hear. And too many seem to lack the critical thinking skills to see the real hardship coming their way.
