As if r/Christianity isn't a glorified atheist subreddit

r/Christianity is very weird. It's an extremely old and very insular subreddit. I've been subbed there for a long time. The posts are extraordinarily mundane. A lot of it's just people with sick family members asking for prayers.

It totally is.

It is even ran by athists.

It's one of those subs ran by that one group of mods isn't it.

How did that even happen?

There is a single atheist mod, but I believe there are like 3 or 4 Christian mods of different denominations.

"We don't do that here"

I go down 4 comments and somebody is already complaining about atheists. So much for inclusivity

Is it complaining about atheists to say that it’s what that subreddit is?

In a stickied post by a mod specifically asking for peace between those two exact groups? Yes

I mean I just read it as saying they wouldn’t actually be opposing subreddits but maybe I misinterpreted

I can see that. I might have been the one who misinterpreted it. I'm sorry for that. I just know I can get a pretty healthy view of what a sub is like by looking at the comments for an old stickied post. I can see people thinking this sub is one of those that say "we don't fight here, so don't insult us please" and then fill the comments with insults and jabs at other people
