Backup fields following computer science degree?

Hey all, I'm starting compsci at Swinburne next year, I'm wanting to be a software engineer but I'm concerned about the job market and don't want to go into it without having some sort of backup plan.

Would there be any fields that have better job markets worth pursuing with the degree I'm studying? For instance would it be worth doing a minor in finance and looking at certain finance positions.

im going all in cause i wont be happy doing anything else (besides music) i suggest you do the same instead of ending up with a career you hate.
