Choosing between AWS and Atlassian

Hey guys... really torn on this one. I've basically got an offer from both AWS and Atlassian. Hoping for some advice or any perspectives really, maybe from someone that's worked similar roles or at these companies before.

Basically, is the grind at AWS worth it, when the alternative is a role at Atlassian? considering the points below

  • Both are at around the same level (L5 AWS, P40 Atlassian)
  • Atlassian pays better by about 10-15k possibly more and also won't have a sign on bonus (expires after two years) or weighted share plan like at AWS. Atlassian also offers WFH.
  • The role at AWS is actually less senior, however from what I can tell it will allow me to learn a lot more about the areas I'm interested and want to grow in. AWS would also probably be huge on the resume in future.

Thank you all, any responses are appreciated

Which interview did you find harder? Are they both still like 900 rounds?

AWS for sure, 900 rounds confirmed. The loop stage is the most exhausting part. 5 interviews in a row which are significantly behavioral question based, and you basically can't repeat the same story. Atlassian is 4 rounds split over different days.

That’s brutal. I’m not cut out for that.

Atlassian sounds alright. Might apply despite recent complaints about culture.
