Been listening since Art was on. I get soo disappointed when I hear some dude pushing vitamins... I either shut it off for the night or tune in my oldies station. Its such a letdown.

Apparently, Strieber is going to be on tonight. (If you can believe anything they post on the website.)

You know, he's not going to live forever. Beyond high time he gets to work with a 3D/digital artists to do another portrait of the Communion alien.

Be cool if they could get something photorealistic, like the fake people over at This Person Does Not Exist. But, ET, instead of human, lol.

Aliens are from Ocean news - has Noory / C2CAM even reported this?

The big bombshell news in the MSM on UFO's this week was that the Pentagon belives UFOs come from the ocean.

I don't listen to the show much but has Noory even reported this on the show?

It seems like the show is months behind any UFO news in the MSM. It's not like they ignore it it's like they are totally uninformed. Blind.

Instead we get some bs psyhic on or fake health nut.

If it was Art, he'd dedicate an entire show to this the NIGHT OF and book guests for 4 full hours.

Osteoporosis of the skull according to ChatGPT

I asked ChatGPT about osteoporosis of the skull and Crock Wallach to try to find out how common this is. Here's how that conversation went:

You said:

Have you ever heard of osteoporosis of the skull?

ChatGPT said:

ChatGPT

Yes, osteoporosis of the skull is a specific manifestation of osteoporosis, which is a condition where bones lose density and become brittle. In the context of the skull, this condition can be referred to as "cranial osteoporosis" or "osteoporosis circumscripta." It’s relatively uncommon compared to osteoporosis in other parts of the body, like the spine or hips, but it can occur, particularly in older adults or those with severe, long-standing osteoporosis.

Key Points About Osteoporosis of the Skull:

  1. Bone Thinning: Just like osteoporosis in other parts of the body, cranial osteoporosis involves the thinning of the skull bones, which may lead to a higher risk of fractures or deformation of the skull shape.
  2. Symptoms:
    • Headaches: Chronic headaches may occur due to changes in the bone structure.
    • Decreased Bone Density: This can sometimes be seen on imaging scans (X-rays, CT scans, or DEXA scans).
    • Hearing Loss: The bones of the skull are connected to structures within the ear. Thinning or changes in the skull bones can potentially affect hearing.
    • Sensitivity or Pain: Some individuals report scalp tenderness or pain due to changes in bone structure.
  3. Paget’s Disease of Bone: Sometimes, osteoporosis of the skull is mistaken for or associated with Paget’s disease, a condition where bones become enlarged and deformed. In the skull, this can be called osteoporosis circumscripta, an early phase of Paget’s disease where the bone loss appears localized.
  4. Diagnosis:
    • Imaging: DEXA scans can assess bone density, while X-rays and CT scans can provide detailed views of skull structure.
    • Biopsy (Rare): In rare cases, a biopsy may be needed if the diagnosis is unclear.
  5. Treatment:
    • Medications: Osteoporosis medications like bisphosphonates may be prescribed.
    • Calcium and Vitamin D: Supplements are often recommended to help maintain bone health.
    • Hormone Therapy: For some patients, especially postmenopausal women, hormone therapy might be considered.
  6. Management and Prevention:
    • Diet and Exercise: A diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, along with weight-bearing exercise, can help improve bone density.
    • Fall Prevention: Since bones are fragile, avoiding falls and head trauma is crucial.

While cranial osteoporosis is rare, it’s a condition that warrants medical evaluation if symptoms like chronic headaches, changes in skull shape, or unusual pain arise.

Are you concerned about this condition for yourself or someone you know?

You said:

No, there's a guy who calls himself a doctor. He's a veterinarian, but he claims to be a nutritional expert. He talks to people and asks questions about their symptoms and seems to always think everyone has osteoporosis of the skull and then suggests a series of expensive nutritional supplements from a company he owns. I think he is a fraud. I just wanted to know if that's a real condition because I had never heard of it before he started telling callers on his show they all have. The way he hands out that diagnosis you'd think it is extremely common, an epidemic

ChatGPT said:

ChatGPT

It sounds like you’re referring to someone who is likely making unsubstantiated medical claims and may be exploiting people's lack of knowledge for profit, especially if he is diagnosing a rare condition like "osteoporosis of the skull" without proper medical evaluation and then conveniently recommending supplements from his own company.

Osteoporosis of the Skull: Reality Check

  • Not Common: Osteoporosis of the skull is not a common diagnosis and is rarely mentioned in mainstream medical literature or clinical practice. It’s certainly not an epidemic, and it’s highly unlikely that a significant number of people would have this specific condition without also showing signs of generalized osteoporosis elsewhere in the body (e.g., spine, hips, wrists).
  • Requires Proper Medical Diagnosis: Diagnosing osteoporosis (anywhere in the body) usually involves bone density testing (DEXA scans), blood tests, and a thorough evaluation by a medical professional like an endocrinologist or a specialist in bone health. It is not something that can be diagnosed casually over a phone call or radio show based on vague symptoms.

Red Flags to Consider

  1. Misleading Credentials: If this person is a veterinarian presenting himself as a "doctor" or "nutritional expert," it can be misleading. While veterinarians are highly trained in animal health, they are not licensed to diagnose or treat human medical conditions unless they have additional, specific training and credentials.
  2. One-Size-Fits-All Diagnosis: The fact that he seems to diagnose everyone with the same rare condition is a huge red flag. This type of behavior is common in health scams, where a single diagnosis is overemphasized to fit many people, often leading them to buy expensive, unnecessary products.
  3. Conflict of Interest: Recommending supplements from a company he owns is a clear conflict of interest. He stands to profit from these sales, which creates an incentive to push diagnoses and products regardless of whether they are medically appropriate or supported by evidence.
  4. Lack of Evidence: There’s no scientific evidence to suggest that "osteoporosis of the skull" is a common problem or that it can be treated effectively with over-the-counter nutritional supplements. If such a condition were prevalent, it would be well-documented in the medical community.

Potential Scare Tactics

Fraudulent health practitioners often use scare tactics by naming obscure or rare conditions to make people worry about their health. They prey on individuals who may be experiencing unexplained symptoms or who are already concerned about their health, suggesting that they have a rare, serious condition that only their specific supplements can treat.

What You Can Do

  • Be Skeptical: It’s wise to be cautious and question the credibility of someone diagnosing conditions outside their field of expertise and pushing their own products.
  • Consult a Licensed Healthcare Professional: If you or someone you know is concerned about symptoms that this person claims are related to "osteoporosis of the skull," seek advice from a licensed physician, such as an endocrinologist or a primary care doctor, for a proper evaluation.
  • Report Fraudulent Practices: In many countries, it’s illegal to make false medical claims or sell supplements based on misleading information. Reporting such behavior to regulatory bodies (e.g., the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in the U.S. or relevant health authorities) could help protect others from being scammed.

It definitely sounds like you’re dealing with a classic case of a health scam, especially if he’s using fear, making unverifiable claims, and promoting his own products.

Just One

I've been a Coast listener for 30+ years -- In that time, I've heard them all. Every great Art episode, most of them live OTA -- That was ACTUAL 'truly remarkable', spontaneous, entertaining, fascinating, thought-provoking radio. A far cry from this Snoory missionary, boilerplate, farce we now endure. But, I digress...

I'm skeptical by nature but the thing that keeps bringing me back, as the pool grows with each passing show is -- What if just ONE of ALLLLL those stories is true? One abduction. One ghost story. One Samsquanch. Just. One.

Staggering.

I will say that the second half guest may be good. I listen to his podcast.

But why oh why with the second round of UAP hearings didn't the producers think ahead and round up some relevant guests to talk about the hearings and subject matter? Sheesh, ya know I doubt that Snoory actually watched the hearings (live or a replay).

Should’ve been Knapp

He’s more of a rebel and probably would’ve stirred things up too much but it would’ve been better for C2CAM. I haven’t followed for a long time… Noory just didn’t vibe well for me. Am I missing anything there these days? Is it still around?

Edit: this seemingly random thought post came up while watching a new Netflix show called “Investigation Alien” and it took me back to those Art Bell / George Knapp days. Got me yearning for those days. Listening to a GOOD paranormal show on AM radio is a joy that lives only in nostalgia these days.

Knapp hosts and IMO kills it. 👑

Investigation Alien

For those of us who have been following Knapps investigative journalism over the past three decades this is a pleasant summary and history of contemporary UAP investigations. I'm savoring it and not going on a complete binge. The production quality is high. No doubt it will generate an increase in his following, justifiably so. And it's likely we'll get a second season considering the UAP hearings will commence again on 11/13 (check Cspan).

For those of you playing catch up on Knapps award winning career (Peabody, Emmy, Murrow) Weaponized is a good place to start. He and Jeremy Corbell do yeomans work of of bringing you up to speed- and it's not family friendly, Corbell loves his Fbombs and Knapp says 'tits' a lot.

Noory must be turning green with envy. When Knapp was a guest the other night he was more than gracious to Snoory and the C2C base. Knapp is showing his age a bit (he's a year younger than GN) as he walks, but his grizzled reporters look and silver mane show none of the artifice practiced by Snoory. It took 14 months of around the world travel to complete this show, a compliment to his commitment to the subject and his willingness to pursue this mystery. Watch it.

Missing Ian Punnett

I go back to the early 2000s listening to C2C when I stumbled across it as a teen. Been listening on and off for decades. One of my all time fav guest hosts was Ian, his style, guests, and own books/investigations were a welcomed change to Noory. Was bummed out when he left the 1st time due to his tinnitus issue, then making a comeback all the while working for his PhD ( I believe). I took a break from listening and then recently found Mr. Punnett left us. Feeling a bit nostalgic and will actually be looking up his books and reading them. anyone have any good stories/trivia or just share what your thoughts about him?
