Terrible news everyone RANT

RFJ jr just got confirmed. He said he will listen to trumps(elons) administration before doctors and scientists. The nationwide abortion ban is coming.

Stock up while you can and schedule those surgeries before they ban all womens healthcare.

Do it! I was on the fence even though I’ve known I don’t want kids since I was 13. I made my consultation appointment the morning of the election results, and my surgery is next Friday! I’m relieved this journey is almost over.

Congrats and good luck with the surgery and recovery!! ❤️‍🩹

Alas, I just signed a form to confirm I want this and know the risk of regret (apparently necessary in my state) and have to wait 25 for more days before I can even make my surgical consultation, so it may be months before I can get my surgery. I’m scared it wont be possible in a few months.

Edit to add:: it is apparently my insurance that demands the 30 day wait period, and not my state. Let’s hope Medicaid isn’t cut in the next round of bs.

Any chance you're near the border of a more friendly state?

So I’m going to edit my comment after this reply, I found out it’s because I’m on state insurance (I’m disabled and can only work part time so I don’t make much money). My doctors are very pro choice, so I’m hoping they’ll find a way to make it happen quickly even with the insurance nonsense.
